Name: Solan Fallenskye {Solaerion Bloodreign}

Age: adult

Gender: male

Personality: Solan`s not exactly what you`d call typical. He prefers to shield his emotions from others, even to those he`s close to, and he rarely ever shows his secret worries and feelings. The reasoning? He`s got a sadistic, bloodthirsty second soul, separated originally from his own at a young age due to severe trauma, a darker side of him that`ll take advantage of the times his mental barriers are down--namely, when he allows himself to feel too much emotion--and take over, turning the usually-calm-and-collected drake into an unstoppable beast that`ll destroy anything and anyone. However, he`s no hatchling--he`s learned well how to control this other side, and it rarely ever surfaces.

Solan`s the protective type, and although he may seem cold, he`d willingly throw himself in front of an attack to save even a stranger.

Description/Picture: Solan`s a massive white-scaled Western--his length from snout to tail-tip is just over a hundred feet, while his wingspan is slightly longer. He stands at forty to fifty feet from talon to head. This dragon`s scales are brilliant, glossy white, and his claws and straight horns are light silver, as well as the webbings of his wings and the spike that tips his tail. His eyes are an intense blue.

Powers: A master of controlling shadows, Solan can occasionally animate the shades of any living creature he wishes; we has the ability to converse with them, and thus know things about that being that one would normally never discover. His ability wanes unpredictably, however. He also has unusual blood--it`s pure black, and he can control it to an extent, hardening it inside his veins so that his scales are near-impenetrable. However, this does cut off circulation, and he can`t maintain the ability for very long. Another property of his blood is that it seals any wound he may get, though the speed of his recovery waxes and wanes with the phase of the moon; as a result, even broken bones will heal in a matter of minutes when the moon is at its fullest. He can also shift shape into a human form that looks much like his dragonform in color--pale skin, blue eyes, tousled white hair, and pointed ears and canines.

Whyspr flew swiftly north, toward her home cave. She looked around below her, also searching for prey. She leaned forward a bit, spotting a young deer. She then streched out her claws and grabbed it. She flapped her wings hard, flying upward. The deer bleeted in fear, but it's cries were ignored.

And yet there was another hunter there.

The deer that had swiftly become the young female`s prey was one of a herd; it had perhaps fallen behind, or had wandered off on its own. Whichever the case, its herd was nearby--and coming closer. Almost as if they didn`t notice the presence of the huntress, they thundered through the trees, eyes wide with uncontrollable fear. In moments they were gone; yet not all had survived. The scent of fresh blood--and not from Whyspr`s kill--filled the air. A massive White clutched two deer--a buck with a full rack of antlers and a young doe--in his bloodstained talons, his sky-blue eyes searching for the source of the noise he had heard just moments ago--the sound of the young deer`s terror, and the steady thump of wingbeats that could only be another dragon.

For a moment he deliberated--perhaps this dragon was hostile--but he shook off his doubt in favor of curiosity, unfolding great white wings to launch himself into the air. He was thankful it was a cloudy day--his scales blended in nicely with the sky, and although he didn`t particularly fear the human dragonslayers, it was rather nicer to avoid their attention.
