Quinn sat cross-legged, her eyes sad as she watched him. "I know that already, Lucian. But if you harm me, I won't be made. I want you to know that. If you loose your temper I will make sure to get away, and let you calm down. I promise. Please don't ever forget that. I will do everything to make it easier for you." She promised him, her eyes miserable, and showing her slight hesitance to say anything more. She didn't want to make him upset, or seem like she was obsessive. She just loved him a lot, and wanted the best for him.
"Then lets go, it should be just around those trees." Danny pointed ahead, the gurgle of the river faint but it was clear and crisp. The ice cold water clattered and rolled happily down the river, toward the ocean. It danced in swirls, and Danny had always loved this.
