Jade led Cheyenne up to her room. As Cheyenne was putting away her stuff, Jade lingered in the hall.

Cheyenne followed Jade and pit her bags down quickly. "Okay. Thank you." She said softly.

"No problem." Jade replied. "My boyfriend, my friend, and my girlfriends are away." She explained. "I figure I should make an attempt at being friendly."

She smiled, leading Cheyenne downstairs and outside. Jade flopped down in the grass underneath the oak tree.

"You have a boyfriend?" She asked.

Cheyenne nodded. "I'm new here so I reckoned I should make a friend." She said, sitting in the grass. "No, I don't. Never have." She murmured.

Camilla

I bit my lip and stred at the wall impatiently.

Finally, a nurse arrived in the waiting room with news. "Well?" Ray asked immediately, getting to his feet.

"Melya will be fine," The nurse told them. "She has a broken wrist and a lot of bruises, but other than that she will be fine." ((If you want me to change her injuries, just let me know and I can edit the post))

"And her uncle?"

"He's going to be here awhile. He went down pretty hard." The nurse replied.

"Thank god." Ray said softly. "At least he's out of the picture for a while." He squeezed Camilla's hand and gave her a small smile.

Camilla

I sighed in relief and smiled back at Ray.

Cheyenne nodded. "I'm new here so I reckoned I should make a friend." She said, sitting in the grass. "No, I don't. Never have." She murmured.

"Oh." Jade felt somewhat uncomfortable. "Well... you know. They're not all they cracked up to be." She said lightly.

Camilla
