((Thank you two SO FREAKING MUCH. FAIL POST, HERE WE COME!!!!!!!))
Erika huffed out an irritated sigh; all of the chaos at camp had been giving her a headache. With Shay and Jeremy practically dying without even apologizing for the backbreaking work she had to do in the fields; it was unforgiveable. And Erin wasn't acting like herself either; too much was going on. She felt bad for her best friend; her birthday wasn't turning out all that well. Her dark green eyes flared with annoyance as she stretched out her shoulders. "I guess that I've got no choice but to go then, huh? I am a head counselor, after all." She said loudly enough for everyone to hear, and tapped her ring; she really hoped that she wouldn't hold everyone back on the quest to Greece. She probably could grow some vines to hold something back...right?
Shay woke up with a start, and his head pulsed with a jolting throb. He let out a groan of pain and slid his pale green eyes open, looking around curiously. The infirmary...but what happened? It was still Summer Fool's Day...right? He doubted it deep inside, though. He closed his eyes once again. I'll just rest them for a second...he thought, and tried to remember what happened when it hit him. His Cabin...Cabin 11 had been destroyed and he was crushed under the cabin...right? He opened his eyes cone again and noticed a head of bright, golden hair that gave him a headache; Erin. He opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out; he was too tired--to weak, though he didn't want to admit it. Breathing steadily, he opened up his mouth, determined to say something this time. " What...what happened?" He rasped out in a painfully weak voice.
Ciera looked around at her peers at the camp fire, and her hand rose to the white rose tucked behind her right ear. She bit her lip lightly; she wanted to go, and she knew that she was experienced enough, too. Sure she had that scar on her back, but it didn't matter; she was prepared. With a quick inhale of her breath, she raised her hand meekly. "I'd like to go, if it's not a problem. I know how to fight...and if I get hurt, it's my fault." She said shyly; she really had to stop being so quiet and outspoken. Mom and Dad told her that she would never be judged at Camp Half-Blood, but she doubted it. At a first glance, she was practically a daughter of Hera; and that was forbidden; Hera would never have a demigod child. It was wrong, yet she existed, right. Ciera mentally slapped herself. She's not your mother...she's your patron. She corrected herself, and fell into an uncomfortable silence once agian.
Zael's heart completely lurched forward. He still hadn't gotten over the fact that his sword was the Singing Sword; it was just so strange. He gripped the former key in his hand, and prepared to jump forward into battle when he heard a soft thud behind him. He immediately rushed to Sam's side, eyes changing from confusion to concern. "Sam...Sam what's wrong?" He said strongly, or at least he hoped that his voice came out strong. This whole quest had him on his edge lately, and it was just a matter of time before he had to try and cure his own possible madness. His head snapped up and looked at Acanthus. "Now's not the time to be worrying about that, we have to help her!" He shouted.
((Well the Zael post was a complete and utter failure...T.T
It's gonna take a while for me to get back in my old rhythm...))
