Lily looked around anxiously for Zael. Where is he? she kept asking herself. She wanted to say goodbye to him, but she couldn't find him. She sat down on the grass and looked at the quest members. Seven people she wouldn't challenge or train with. Just like Seth only hopefully less permanent. She especially hoped Zael's absence wouldn't be permanent.

Rain stood back at the edge of the group, watching Dresyn share goodbyes with others. She had already said her goodbye and she knew he had to talk to the other campers that were leaving. A pang went through her as she watched Azura walk up to him and hug him. Part of Rain still suspected something between them. But now that he was leaving she didn't really care.

Brody walked around clapping the heroes on their backs and muttering words of encouragement. He stopped for a moment to let Dresyn know that he was sure Chiron had a lot of confidence in him. Momentarily his eye was caught as Acanthus's Roman tattoo caught in the light through the many limbs of others. His tall figure was pretty noticeable too. Brody steeled himself for a moment before walking up to Acanthus and sticking out his hand, "Good luck."

Deanna chuckled. "I've always wanted to visit the underworld-and he also tried to kill me. After I made it in here, he then decided to claim me. Now, if you don't mind, get your hand off of me. I have no intention of telling Chiron, either." She growled. Her eyes flashed red then back to normal.

Dresyn hung his head, waiting. This was something he wanted to avoid. He listened and was ready to go. They would have to go by sea. Which would be dangerous. He started walking away from the group. He had no hope. He was blind, not that good. He was losing confidence in himself as he walked toward the forest.

Rain saw Dresyn walk by her inches away from him. She could tell he couldn't see her and the expression on his face worried her. "Dresyn?" she asked him as he started to move away from her. "Are you okay?" She didn't want to pry or anything, but she wanted him to be the best he could before he had to leave.

Dresyn nodded. "I'm fine, love." He kept walking toward the beach, toward the boat. He was ready to leave. No doubt in his mine. This had to be done.

Rain nodded, not even bothering to voice herself aloud so Dresyn could hear her. To Rain, Dresyn was already gone and it was clear that was how he felt too. "Good luck," she murmured to herself.

Aria scowled at her, "At least tell me how he tried to kill you." She rolled her eyes. "Boo hoo, he threatened to kill me if I didn't kill one of my friends a few weeks ago. He threatens and kills. That's his thing." She said. "Now let's go. Your not going to the Underworld alone, and your not going today." She said matter-of-factly. She loosened her grip but didn't let go until she was sure she wasn't going to run off on her.

Josette stood up, ready to go, she waved goodbye to all the other campers, who she could never see again and sighed, trying not to cry.

Deanna rolled her eyes. "That's what I did before I came here. Hades sent two Hellhounds to kill me. And you're not going to take me back into the camp."

Kimon saw about to reply until Chloe kissed his cheek. He felt his face burn at least fifty different shades of red. He tried to say something but his brain completely turned to mush so all he was able to mutter was. "Uh duh..."


Acanthus stood by himself, staring out at the sea in the distance. He felt an unnerving prickle of what might be self loathing in the pit of his stomach. He blinked the distant look out of his eyes and turned his head to see Brody? He believed it was. He took his hand and nodded. "Gratias--" He caught himself. "I mean thanks." He corrected himself.


Sam shuffled her feet slightly. The wait was unnerving but so was the fact that she was leaving to go and betray her new friends. She felt a twang of guilt twist in her stomach. She didn't want to but what choice did she have?


Zach yawned and looked at everyone. "Well, bye you poor souls who are going on a suicide mission!" He called before he walked into the Eris cabin. He was exhausted after getting very little sleep last night.


Adrian shifted in his bed, he was getting tired of hearing every word that was being said. He growled and opened his cabin door. "Shut up! I'm trying to get some sleep!" He yelled before he slammed the door shut and grumbled to himself. He crawled back into his bed and threw the blankets back on him.
