Somebody Up There (Camp Half-Blood Semi-Lit RP) Accepting

Rain saw Dresyn leaving and got up. She needed to talk to him before he left. She picked up her pace and in a few moments she was standing next to him, tapping his shoulder. "Hi, you all set for your big quest?" she asked nonchalantly. She slowed down her pace to match Dresyn's and walked beside him, hardly daring to breathe from the stress of everything that was going on.

Chloe shrugged Azura's hand off, "I've got to go get ready." Chloe walked out of the amphitheater and to her cabin. She would need clothes and probably more weapons, you could really never have enough in a situation like this. Then she intended to sleep until it was time to go.

Azura watch her best friend go. Both her best friend and the guy she liked were going on this suicide mission. Azura got up and quickly left the amphitheater, biting her knuckle to keep from crying.

Dresyn turned to her. "Not quite." He wrapped his arms around her and leaned down, kissing her. He dipped her slightly, holding her tightly against him. He pulled back and straightened the up, listening to her. He knew she was out of breath. This was something that he had never done. Or expected to do.

Ariana looked down at Dresyn, sleep well? she didnt think so, she would probably be up all night thinking about it. There was so much at steak for these people and she was sitting here like a spoiled child angry because she couldnt go? Deep within her heart she had the oddest feeling that she needed to but she had told Chiron that and he had faced her down all she could do now was wait for the inevitable. them leaving her behind.

Mystic had been listing to the whole thing thinking what a dangerous mission this was going to be. she was glad she was new and was not even considered for such a thing. sure magic knowledge was flowing into her every minute but she wouldnt want to bet 6 other peoples life on what she could and couldnt do. suddenly she was tired, so very tired. she stood up got away from the people around her and flew off to hectate cabin arriving there in an amazingly short amount of time she transformed back so she didnt overwhelm any new sister she should meet. she knocked and opened the door to go in for the night.

(Chloe and Azura have been friends for years and are almost like sisters. Besides you can have multiple best friends.)

Azura reached her cabin and threw open the door. She ran to Elysia and hugged her, crying. Why did life as a demigod have to be so hard?

Shade shot up in bed and looked toward Mystic, "Who in Hades name are you?"

((Yeah but...never mind...don't mind me. Also I thought Shade was a son of Hades not Hecate? Now I'm just confusing myself.))

For a moment Rain was lost in Dresyn. He was kissing her and part of her never wanted to let go. She closed her eyes but it was all over before it began. "Oh...okay, well if you need any help, just let me know," she mumbled, opening her eyes and resting one hand on his arm. She looked up at him and sighed. "I wish it didn't have to be so soon," she admitted, ashamed of her own selfishness. Her other hand clenched into a fist at her side. Secretly she was glad Dresyn couldn't see for the moment. It made hiding her true emotions slightly easier. Though since she wasn't so great at that to start with she was sure Dresyn could tell she was upset. Or at least she hoped he knew how she felt, a little.

[Anomaly]

Dresyn put their foreheads together, closing his eyes. "I don't want to leave, Rain. But I have to." He gently stroked her cheek with his callused hand. "I love you. And I will come back to you." He kissed her forehead. "I promise you." He brushed some hair from her face. All he wanted was to be here with her.

Acanthus stood up, towering over all the other campers. "I'm going as well." He said with a fully authoritative voice that made him look all the more Roman. He then made his way to stand next to Dresyn, whom he dwarfed.
As acanthus stood next to the fire from the hearth it danced across his tan muscular body, making even his golden eyes gleam with power. He didn't know it but his father's sign was fully visible in the light. He had a hard look on his face that said he was going with or without approval, especially since this was already his mission on at the Roman camp.
Acanthus watched as everyone started to disperse and he started to walk off.


Sam gulped down the lump in her throat. "I-I'm going too. I had a dream telling me I was supposed to." Her voice faltered slightly as she stood up. She fully composed herself and looked like she could take out the side of Mount Rushmore if she punched it but, her eyes held a twinge of what could be interpenetrated as guilt.
Sam exhaled a sighed and started to walk back to her cabin. She would need to pack all the essential a betrayer would need-- a knife, for backstabbing; a pair of soccer cleats, so he can walk all over her friends feelings; and a noose, so she can hang herself when she's done.
Sam felt a knot twist in her stomach as she walked into her cabin. She collapsed on her bed and tried her darnedest not to cry.
