Taylor laughed, "You're the hunter.. not me. I've already have had enough blood for today." He grinned. Following her carefully, her had also dropped into a crouch, although it was simply his vampire instincts. He suddenly grabbed for Amber pulling her back as she was clawed. "You okay?" He asked worriedly, "I think we should go for something easier."


"Your old house? Oh.." Lydia said nodding slowly. "I don't.. I don't know if I like the idea of being in a house where someone was killed." She admitted with a small sigh. "And where is it located? If it's outside of the area, or town.. then well no. I've gotten in my fair share of trouble, and I've gotten enough threats to have what's left of my family killed. I need to stay in the area to keep my family safe."

Amber winced and shook her head. "I'm fine..." she managed. But she fell back slightly into his arms, feeling a little dizzy from being swatted so far. She walked back up to the bear and tried to find a way to attack.

Damon smirked slightly. "Don't worry..." he murmured. "It is fairly close to here." he assured her. "And they're gone and buried now." he promised her, a soft smile on his face.

"I don't think you are.." Taylor sighed, going pull Amber back away from the bear again. "I think we should go for an easier animal.. like rabbit, or deer. Something like that."


Lydia sighed lightly before she stood up and nodded. "Okay," She said nodding again. "Yeah but still.. living in a house where someone was murdered.." She trailed off, "Probably the safest place at the moment.

Amber sighed quietly and let herself fall back into his arms, resting her head on his chest. "Fine..." she whispered, her eyes a dull grey color. Her head was aching but she wasn't about to tell him that... it would heal soon. She took his hand and then started leading him away, not sure where another animal might be.

Damon chuckled softly. "Wow... that's ironic." he smirked, standing up with her. He took her hand gently and gave it a gentle squeeze. "Don't worry... I'll keep you safe." he murmured, his eyes flashing a brilliant blue color before going back to their normal golden color.

Taylor stared down a her with a worried look, before he followed her as he was lead away. "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked, "I can go find sometime for you." He said. "Or maybe going into town for another- weaker, vampire." He added. "You know when you said it's like a genetic thing..? The way you are? I know you don't like being around Damon- neither do I. But maybe he knows how to push away those werewolf instincts and kind of have you as a full vampire?"

"That is." Lydia agreed with a small laugh, looking over at him. "I trust you." She said with a small nod. She blinked leaning forwards towards him to study his eyes as they flashed blue. "Your eyes.." She said quietly, "They were so blue for a moment."

Amber shook her head slowly. "Ill be fine... like you said, I'm the hunter right now remember?" she smirked slightly. Her face darkened as he mentioned Damon. "No... I... I can't talk to him right now." she muttered before she continued walking.

Damon looked a little uncomfortable for a moment and then he nodded. "Yeah... it's a wolf thing." he admitted with a shrug. "That was my actual eye color before I was turned." he told her, a small smirk on his face. "I don't know what just happened either but... I just don't know." he admitted, sighing in confusion. But he looked at the closeness of her face and he leaned forward to kiss her gently on the cheek.

"You always say you'll be fine." Taylor told her raising a eyebrow. "Yeah okay.. Well, a hunter normally has someone helping them out, don't they?" He asked. "Sorry," He apologized quickly, "I just figured he'd know more about this than us."


"Interesting." Lydia said with a small nod. "It was you original eye colour? Its nice, I like it." She told him, similing. "You're lucky though. I'd like to see my old eye colour again." She said. "Well, looks like that just adds onto the list of things that dot made sense." She smirked, but her smirked faded into a soft smile as he kissed her cheek.

Amber shot him a glare and it slowly faded into a frown. "I know... but... I just can't..." she choked out, shaking her head. "And... I always say I'll be fine... because I don't like people worrying about me." she admitted quietly.

Damon chuckled softly. "Remember, I couldn't see it... just you." he smirked. He placed a gentle hand on the side of her face and caressed her cheek. "Lydia? I... I really like you." he admitted quietly, his face a little nervous.
