"See that's good. You can keep on a diet of animal blood. But you can have my blood now and again." Taylor said with a small smile. "And I bet the animal blood will make of easier for you to be around me." He added, "Sure. Let's go."

Lydia nodded, "Yeah. Good point." She said with a nod. "Here." She said, hold the claw out to give it back. "I scared you? Sorry," She said smiling sheepishly. "Oh I'm sure you'll be killing more than that in the future." She said looking out towards the water.

Amber smirked and stood up, holding her hand out for him to take. "You're too nice to me." she giggled quietly, her black eyes surprisingly happy from how dark they were. "Come on slowpoke!" she laughed once he got to his feet and she started jogging back into the woods.

Damon took the claw and put it back into his pocket. He smirked slightly. "It was a rush..." he admitted. "I used to scavenge for food before I met you, remember?" he chuckled quietly. "The only other time I killed something was that werewolf." he shuddered. "And that made me feel... horrible." he admitted, looking over at her. Then his face softened and he rested his forehead against hers, slowly bringing his lips to hers and kissing her gently.

"You rather I not be nice?" Taylor asked her cocking a brow smirking. He laughed slightly at her next comment, and ran after her. "Gotcha." He grinned, grabbing her by the waist before he gently put her over his shoulder- holding her there. "I'm not much of a slowpoke when I can catch you." He pointed out.

"Yeah, I remember." Lydia answered with a small nod. "Really?" She asked in surprise, "Only a couple slayers and a werewolf.. huh." She murmured. "Well being a vampire it's not something you can avoid.. killing is what vampires, and werewolves were made for." She told him, "But I'll tell you now, that horrible feeling doesn't get any better." She sighed. Her body locked in place for a moment out of surprised but she softened up quickly and kissed him back.

Amber let out a playful squeal as he picked her up like she was nothing. She wrapped her arms around his neck and smirked. "Well thank you, Captain Obvious." she teased, running her fingers gently through his hair.

Damon slowly pulled away slightly, his forehead still against hers. He placed a gentle hand on her cheek and studied her face curiously. "You always knew I liked you didn't you?" he smirked. "The way you teased me in the woods, I just about died." he admitted with a smirked, caressing her cheek softly.

"No problem." Taylor chuckled before her set her down. "You're really light." He observed looking down at her. "You touch my hair.. a lot." He smirked.

"Yeah.. I did." Lydia said with a grin looking at him. "It was kinda of like you had.. a large blinking neon sign above your head stating that you did." She said with a small laugh. "Oh, I could tell. It was a amusing.. you defiantly stuttered a lot." She told him with another laugh.

Amber giggled quietly and looked around, making sure she wasn't going to scare any animals away. "Thanks... and I touch your hair because I LOVE it." she giggled, ruffling his hair pointedly.

Damon sighed quietly and his face went a little red. "I stutter when I'm nervous." he shrugged, trying to pass it off like it didn't bother him but it was written all over his face that it did. He kept his hand gently on her cheek though, glad that she wasn't mad at him for what he was.

"Maybe I should shave it then." Taylor teased raising and eye brown. "Ugh, no never mind." He said shaking his head. He laughed slightly and pushed her hands away from his head, "Let's find you some animal okay?"

"You suck at trying to play it cool." Lydia told him with a laugh, "It's rather amusing." She said with a smiled. She glanced down slightly at the hand that was on her cheek before she look up at him with another smile placing one of her own hands over his.

Sarah, at first, looked scared sh*tless, but then she relaxed as she realized he was joking. "Don't do that!" she shouted, her eyes narrowing angrily. She was teasing too but she was a good actress. Then she just smirked and nodded. "Lead the way..." she murmured, wanting him to go first.

Damon looked a little uncomfortable when she said he sucked at playing it cool. Then his face slowly started to break into a smirk as she said it was amusing. "Better to be amusing and sound like an idiot than be boring, I suppose." he chuckled quietly. He studied her eyes curiously. He didn't know it, but his eyes were now a dark blue color... from the bit of werewolf that he had in him now.

"Hey, hey. I'm only kidding." Taylor laugh looking at her with an amused look at the scared look on her face. His eyes suddenly went wide at the serious look on her face, and her sudden yell. "Whoa.. yeah okay. I wont." He said slowly. "Hey now.." He said looking at he as he was told to lead the way. "I'm the the one hunting, now am I?" He asked raising a brow.

"I suppose you're right." Lydia agreed, smiling. She let out a small puff of breath, frowning slightly. "Where are we supposed to go now? We can't stay here forever. The slayers know where you live, so it's not safe at your place. And well.. it's not so safe at mine." She said, "And I'm not keen on making a deal with a not-so-friendly vampire." She said referring to one of the older vampires that always hung out in clubs, one she ran into when she was a young vampire.

Amber rolled her eyes and took the lead. "I was TRYING to be nice!" she teased, trying not to laugh. She walked into the woods, her walk graceful and silent like a ballet dancer. She heard the cracking of a twig and she dropped into a crouch. She lunged through a nearby bush and bit down hard on the animal she had landed on, only to find that it was another bear. It let out a bellow and swiped its paw at her, sending her flying against a tree. She let out a cry of pain and held her ribs, her face pained. "That's why I was letting you lead..." she muttered, standing up and circling the bear as she looked for another way to take it down.

Damon thought carefully. "We could... move into my old house." he murmured. "I haven't been there in years... no one has. I was too upset to go in there. That's where my parents and sister were killed. But we should go there... it would be safe for the time being." he murmured quietly, rubbing her arm gently, trying to relax her.
