"Sometimes, yes." Mark said, letting her take off his cap. He liked that cap, had had it since he was a boy. "Am I hard to read?"

Aiseling set his cap on the table beside her. "Sometimes. And sometimes you're easily read." She looked in his eye, hoping he'd understand.

Mari smiled not afraid to look at him, "Well only she can tell us." Mari looked away for a moment then looked back at Severard with warm bright green and purple eyes, "I am often made fun of because of my wierd eye colour, but my father said it was because I see people differently, I think he was right." Mari blushed when she realized that she babbling and stared into Severards eyes seeing shadows and light but the light was hidden by the shadow. "You have a lovely soul." Mari said without thinking again as she stared at him.

"And am I easy to read now?" Mark said, meeting her gaze with a soft-smirk.

"Wouldn't say lonely...just cold." Severard said, not looking at her any longer. He couldn't. For once he couldn't really meet anyone's gaze. He let his gaze go blank, shutting his eyes a moment. When he opened them again, they were that same old void they had always been.

[Anomaly]

"Very easily read." Aiseling kissed his forehead. "And you still haven't slept, have you?"

Mari smiled and chuckled softly, "I see the good in people Severard, you are no different." Mari said placing a hand on his with out thinking then lifted it after she looked down and saw what she was doing, "Sorry I didn't mean to." Mari said smiling shyly at him, Mari you need to stop with wanting to touch him he doesn't want it! Mari thought to herself as she bit her lip.

"On and off," Mark said, kissing her back. "No more than two hours at a time, but all together? Four, or six, but still."

"No, it's...it's alright..." Severard said, looking at her now from the corner of his eye. Gently, he took her hand again, this time simply holding it. You can't care for anyone! I can d*mn well try.

Aiseling whispered, "In one day?" She looked at him with knowing eyes.

Mari smiled sweetly at Severard as he took her hand again, she could feel the strength in them, in him. Mari took a deep breath wanting to say something but decided that it would be best if she enjoyed the moment in silence for once. See I still have my gift father, I still have it. Mari thought looking away from Severard trying to keep tears away from her eyes as the memories came back.

Mark chuckled, but met her eyes only barely. "Maybe spred out over a few..."
