Skye shut the door and glanced at her. "Here, I have a few blankets and other stuff around here so climb onto the couch and I'll go get them." he smiled and walked down the hall to a small closet grabbing a few blankets that would keep her warm for awhile. Carrying them back, he sighed quietly.

Neera sat on the couch and waited silently for the blankets. She smiled when Skye came back with them.

Hm. Does she still have the six year-old mind? He thought, sitting next to her and throwing a couple blankets over her. "Ugh, I'm getting tired..." he mumbled, glancing to his left and tapping his lower lip with one finger.

"You can go to sleep then, Ian. I'll be okay.", she said with a smile.

Skye let his eyes trail slowly back to Neera. "Are you sure?" he asked, smiling a bit himself.

Neera nodded. "I'm sure. I'm just cold is all..."

"Well, I'm not that tired." he replied, gaze lowering slightly. "I just want to make sure your okay...." Skye mumbled quietly, closing his eyes in a silent thought.

"I'll be fine.", she said with an honest smile. "Go sleep about sheep-ies!"

"E-eh, alright... But, if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask..." he murmured, standing up and breathing quietly. "Anything." he smiled and turned to walk away. As Skye walked down the hall towards his room , he started to think. She might not stop calling me Ian...Different, but, I think I can live with it... Stopping in front of the door to his bedroom , Skye opened it and lethargically walked over to his bed. With a quiet sigh, he sat on the edge of his bed and thought for a bit. When he finally gave up, he shrugged and curled into his bed, soon falling into a light sleep.

In the morning, after Neera had woken up, she stretched out and yawned. She glanced around the room abit with a slight smile until... she began coughing again. This time, instead of black... ooze or... whatever... it was shaped like a bird, and it moved to. She held it in her hands as it dripped on her clothes and began to run to Skye's room. Tar or whatever on her face she kicked at the door and yelled. "Ian! Ian! I have a birdy!"
