Jillian tilted her head at Rito's smooth voice and looked over, smiling at the Cheshire-boy. Registering his question, however, she shrugged, looking back to the water and withdrawing her finger. "I'unno...just looking at the water, I suppose." She licked the water from her finger like a child with ice cream on their hands and sat back, looking at Rito with an embarrassed expression. "Sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to upset you..."

Rito smiled down at her. "Like I said. It's ok." He said, sitting down beside her. His tail flicked around, making the fish bone piercings jingle softly. He stuck the tip of his tail in the water, letting the fake fish bones dangle in the water. After a few minutes, he pulled his tail up from the water with a small fish hanging off of it. "You want it, or should I throw it back?" He asked quietly, picking it off of his tail and holding it in his hands.

[Fin: I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS! -Chucks random rock at Rito-

Jillian watched in amusement as Rito caught the fish, and when he offered it to her, her eyes widened in surprise. "Wait...I have an idea." Taking the fish from him, she held it close to the water, only allowing its tail to go into the water. It began to thrash around, sending water every which way, and Jillian laughed so hard she let the fish go. Still snorting slightly, she flopped back, staring up at the 'stars'. "Well...that was fairly amusing. Sorry if you got wet..."

Rito chuckled as the fish thrashed around and shielded his face. "It's fine." He said, looking down at the water. He twirled his tail tip around, teasing the fish that nipped at the fake fish bones.

Jillian smiled when the boy played with the fish, but as always, a question nagged at her. She sighed softly, looking away from the boy's stripped tail with a slightly frightened gaze. "Rito...is it true that you like me? Is that why you're so mad, all of a sudden?" She looked to him with the excitement of a child, eager for his answer. Jillian giggled slightly, and looked to his tail, a slight blush on his cheeks. "I mean...sorry. I ask too much...stuff."

Rito nodded. "Yeah... Sorry I've been acting like a total jerk to you guys.." He said with a sigh.

Jillian frowned when Rito bullied himself and she scooched up to him, leaning against him in some effort in comforting him. She looked up to him with wide, blue eyes, a slight frown on her face. "Don't beat yourself up over it. You aren't a bad person and we aren't mad at you. Not at all."

Rito looked a bit surprised when she leaned on him, but didn't object. He had to fight the urge to purr though. After a few moments of silence, he looked down at her. "Well, I mean, it's kind of stupid and useless to get mad at Fin. You like, him, he likes you. I should feel happy for him. He's like my brother, and well... I kind of steal all of his girlfriends. Usually unintentionally, but sometimes... I kinda do it on purpose." He admitted sheepishly, looking anywhere but at Jillian. He wasn't really all that comfortable admitting things around her.

Jillian tilted her head when Rito spoke, watching him look away. She knew little about boys; she'd first believed they were the spawn of the devil. That was years ago, and the thought made her want to laugh, but she did realize she still knew nothing about them. "But...why would you steal his girlfriends? Does it...make you happy?" A bit confused, Jillian leaned back, trying to make Rito look at her. After all, she was curious; a bad thing, some may think, but she liked it...somewhat.

Rito shrugged, leaning back and looking up at the 'sky'. He propped himself up with his elbows and looked over at her. "I dunno. I guess I got jealous..." He said, his pink cat ears drooping.
