Amaye stood silent, waiting, but also trying to think of a good song.

"Well," She shifted awkwardly. "Do you know that Jason Derulo song, Riding Solo? I really like it..."

It suddenly occurred to her she just said an entire sentence without stuttering.

Jared nodded his head. He did like that song, and he guessed that Amaye knew it too. He looked at Mia and asked,"And you want to sing it now, here?" He looked around at all the people in the hallway. Of course, he had no problem singing, but Mia just seemed kind-of shy. But, maybe she wasn't like that on the stage or something.

Amaye sighed, but she was smiling."We better hurry if we are going to sing it now, class will start soon."

Mia looked around at the people around her, who glared and jeered back. She was already made fun of enough now, thank you very much.

"N-no." She told them, dodging another slushie chucked at her. "I-I think the auditorium is a little safer."

Amaye suddenly felt bad for Mia, and she nodded quickly."Alright." She glared at the person who had thrown the slushie.

Jared nodded,shoving his hands into his back pockets. He said,"Sure." He gave a small smile, walked to the auditorium. Who really needed class right now anyway?

The auditorium at McKinley was very worn, and needed some serious work. It did, however, have mind blowing (and possibly ear blowing) speakers. The room was empty, except for the piano guy who's name nobody ever knew was there. He was always there; He'd worked at McKinley for years.

Mia walked up to the microphone nervously as Jason Derulo's beginning music began to blare. She opened her mouth and began to sing;

"Yeeeeeyeeeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,

Mia's voice was a little rough-like rock music's. It was very powerful, controlled, and could hit high notes. She was a unique, talented singer, with a really big voice for such a little person.
