"Exactly!" Echo giggled. They were now in an area that Echo somewhat recognized. It was where she first arrived at the school, which meant that the school entrance was here. She quickly turned to Vanessa. "Should we go inside and hide so he thinks we're still outside?" She heard noise behind her. "Hurry, I think hes almost here!"

Eli watched as Vanessa and Echo made the turn, slowing down a bit. This was becoming ridiculous. What were they trying to make him do? He sighed, but continued on with the running, hoping there would be some sort of prize for him when we won. Everything is a competition to Eli.

"Hurry, let's go inside, or atleast get out of sight!" Vanessa exclaimed, glancing back. ELi was nowhere to be seen, but maybe he was about to turn the corner, about to catch them, and ruin the great plan..."Hurry!" she shrieked to Echo again, glancing around.

Echo shrieked when she heard footsteps coming. "Go!" She whispered loudly as she dragged Vanessa into the building. She glanced around quickly, seeing all of the different halls. She went down a random one and motioned for Vanessa to follow her. As usual, she had no clue where she was leading them but as long as it got them out of sight, it worked.

Eli
Eli stopped when he was near the entrance of the school. He caught his breathe and looked around. As he ran his fingers through his hair, he wondered where they had gone. They couldn't have gotten away that quickly unless they went inside the building. Feeling confused, he stood motionless for a few seconds, trying to figure out what to dor.

Vanessa stumbled at first, in the dark, strange buliding. Soon though, she became used to it, her feet gliding silently along the floor, her body poised and tense, like a cat. Just like the city streets. They were easy to navigate, once you knew them. And Vanessa could always know how to turn the darkness to her favor, the silence as well.

After another couple of minutes, Rory suddenly rolled over, facing Luca now. Her arms were shivering from the cold air conditioning. In her conscious mind, Rory would've never complained about air conditioning. She was all for cool weather. She had always hated the heat since she could remember. Her mother would always roast her to death whenever they were in the car; Rory being extremely hot and her mother being freezing cold.

Tell me, is there anyone out there? Am I swimming through this empty sea alone?
Am I looking for an answer, or am I trying to find a way to get back home?

{{She should be fun. xD And Firewolf, classes haven't started yet. I figure it's about 5:30 PM now, so the cafeteria will open for dinner soon, and the next morning in the story, classes can start up.}}

Luca was barely awake now, his eyes quickly drifting shut no matter how hard he fought to keep them open. He was faintly aware of Rory shifting next to him, but not aware enough to process the thought. Just a few minutes, he thought to himself, reasoning that if Rory woke up, he was a fairly light sleeper so he would hear her. So, with his decision made final, Luca drifted off to sleep.

Zoe sauntered up the long driveway to St. Ursula's, looking more cool and collected than she actually felt. She ran her fingers through her hair, straigthening any lumps that might suggest she had almost had a forty-five foot fall. The shouts of the cab driver eventually faded away to nothing as she walked away, and she figured that he would have probably given up by now. Her heart slowed back to its normal pace and her nerves calmed down.

She looked at her stinging hands, not even blinking at the sight of the two straight, identical cuts in her palms from the bars of the gate. She thought back to her climb; she hadn't cut herself on the outside, where one would expect there to be some sort of sharpened defense to keep people out. No, she had cut herself from the inside of the gate. Someone was definately trying to keep something in, and Zoe wasn't quite sure that she wanted to know.
