"Screw this..." Matthew mumbled, glaring pointedly at the slightly crumpled piece of paper he had on hand. After what seemed like hours wandering the halls, there was still no sign of his dorm room, and he was losing energy pretty quick. After all, he was lugging around a five pound bass guitar, not that he's complaining. Besides, he'd never trust anyone else with his ever so precious bass.
Stopping, he fished his map out of his pocket and performed a quick read-through, making sure he was on the hall. "God forbid, if I'm on the wrong hall I'd-" Turns out, he was. "Ah, bollocks." And thus began the grueling journey towards the right hall, on the other side of the school.
When Matthew finally got to the hall, it was safe to say he was far from pleased. Lugging around a bass guitar halfway around the school was definitely not a pleasant experience and if he was to choose between that and eating a bug...he'd rather go with the bug.
After a few seconds of rest, he hoisted the bass off the floor and slung the strap over his shoulder. He was pretty much knackered, and though he was positive his arm was going to fall off at any minute, he, nonetheless, continued his journey down the blasted hall, eager to get to his room and rest.
