Anabelle sensed another wolf nearby and she looked around and noticed Dmitri waiting for her. With a broad smile, Anabelle shifted forms and padded over to him to nuzzle his chest.

Dmitri rested his head on her shoulders. "Good morning, Anabelle."

[saige.]

"Morning, Dmitri.." Anabelle replied and sighed with content. It had seemed like the time they had last seen each other was years ago, not just a day earlier.

Dmitri hated to interrupt their moment, but heard his tummy rumble and asked, "Can we go hunting? I'm hungry."

Anabelle looked up and nodded. Her hazel eyes gleamed at the thrill of the hunt that was soon to take place, "This way." she said and started to silently run into a deeper part of the forest.

Dmitri followed, smiling at the idea of a morning run.

Anabelle stopped when she was at a familiar part of the woods. She sniffed the air and glanced around to see where the Elk could be at. Around here was where they usually came to graze, so their scent should be fresh.

Dmitri picked up on the smell of a bull elk. He decided to pick that one. He nodded to Anabelle.

Anabelle nodded and flicked her tail, "Go ahead, I'm going to follow my scent trail." she said and quietly padded off in another direction.

Dmitri sighed and followed the bull elk. He found a corner to crouch down in, where the elk couldn't see him. The silly bull elk was grazing.

Dmitri, with his top speed of 80mph or more, bolted from the bushes, and effortlessly made the kill.

He dragged his prey to a willow tree, and ate under it. This satisfied his hunger.
