Delphis nodded with another smile. "No, actually. I normally stick to myself. You didn't look intimidating and I was curious. Besides, I know how to defend myself." she explained. "Well, if you must know. The coin tastes good." she said, repeating herself. "It gives me something to indulge on, since the thing I like the most can be very dangerous." she said vaguely. "The cold--Well, I'm cold enough already. It doesn't bother me." she shrugged. "And the spiders. Well, what's not to like?" she asked, closing her green eyes for a moment. When she opened them though, a lopsided figure met her eyes. She turned her head and looked straight at it, leaning back to see it better. "Tch, an old man." she muttered as he showed himself, abolishing her nerves for once.
She felt sorry for him though. You see, this was when her kind heart came in. She wondered if he ever felt lonely...Deciding she would do the talking, she began to speak, "Through the door." she answered to his question, almost unnervingly simple. "Stove's broke? Electricity too, huh? Bummer." she sighed, looking back at Price, and his disappointed look.
"Well..." she said, looking at Price for an answer. She expected him to be upset over the thought of no food. There was plenty of food for her though. She let her eyes slide over the restaurant, seeing an obvious rat hole behind a shelf. That would do.
Rat's blood was actually very sweet, and she didn't mind if there were no other choices..
