Cecile grinned. "There's a lemonade stand not too far. Want to go with me? You look hot."

Chris smiled at Cecile. "Sure." He said. "I'll pay for it." The skateboarder added.

Cecile laughed and walked with him toward the stand. She bought two lemonades and slapped a ten on the counter before he could pay. "My treat." She said, grinning.

Chris laughed and elbowed her gently. "I owe ya." He said smoothly. "School starts tomorrow for me. You?" Chris questioned, sitting at a bench.

Cecile nodded. "Same here." She paused, sniffing the air. Her eyes widened. He was a red werewolf. Known for being ruthless to get what they want. They'd stolen from the black werewolves years ago. Their races had been fighting ever since. "I need to go. It was nice meeting you." She forced a smile, set her drink down, and rode away on her scooter. Her scent was left behind and revealed that she was a black werewolf, the enemy of Chris's race.

At first, Chris wondered why Cecile left in such a hurry. He watched her get on her scooter and speed away. Chris smelled her scent. She was a black werewolf; enemy to him. Chris lowered his eyes. "She's found out." He thought to himself and threw the rest of his lemonade to the ground, crushing the bottle with his sneaker. He always hated the black werewolf pack, but seeing Cecile, laughing and teasing him about his sight, made him think differently. He turned away. "Who am I?" He murmured, looking up at the sun for an answer.

Cecile arrived at Peter's house and knocked on the door. When he didn't answer, she punched through the wood and unlocked it herself. She stepped inside and saw him out the back window. She shook her head. They were cousins, though they were supposed to be sworn enemies. She sat down on his couch and put her head in her hands.

Peter looked behind him and noticed a girl doing the same thing he was. He rolled over onto his stomach and watched her with warm curiosity in his eyes.

Nicole turned her head. She felt someone watching her. "Whose there?" She shouted, standing up. Nicole scented another smell. Another werewolf? Curious, Nicole searched her surroundings silently, but closely...

Peter closed his eyes and rolled over onto his back, enjoying the sunshine. "Just your neighbor." He called, smirking crookedly.

"For your information. I just moved here. I don't even know my neighbors yet." Nicole said, exasperated, finally seeing the owner of the voice. She walked towards him, and flopped down on the grass. "I'm Nicole, but you can call me Nikki." She said softly.
