Brent laughed. "Alright." He took off running down the slope.

Max laughed and scrambled to a stop as the lagoon came into veiw. It was a huge, crystal clear lake, with a waterfall. SHe yanked her t~shirt off, so she was in a tank top and shorts, and took a running leap into the water.

Brent had changed into shorts earlier that day. He jumped into the water shouting, "Cannonball!" When he resurfaced, he was doing the doggy paddle.

Max dived under the water, resurfacing behind Brent. "Hey puppy! What are you doing?" she teased.

Brent grinned. "Doing the doggy paddle!"

[lance.]

Max shook her head. "Well, come on, lets go to tthe cave behind the waterfall!" she dove under the water and swam to the cascade of sparkling water thsat hid the giant gem~filled cave.

Brent dove underneath the water and followed Max. He grinned. "Its beautiful in here!"

[lance.]

Max grinned and climbed up out of the water. "it is isn't it?" She looked around her, running her hand across the gem-studded walls. "I can't think of anything more beautiful." Max loved how big the cave was, how it seemed that no matter what was going on, this place would act as an escape.

Brent smiled. "I can think of something more beautiful." He ran his hand through his hair.

[lance.]

Max laughed and wacked him in the head. "Don't be do arrogant," she scoffed. "I can think of plenty o beautiful things, and your nowhere near that list," she teased.
