Lexi pushed her dark hair behind her ear and turned around, still on her knees. "Hi," she said to the girl in a calm voice standing up and grabbing her grooming kit from the ground. "You must be new here, right?" Lexi asked "well I'm Lexi." She said holding out her hand for the girl to shake.

"I'm Kate, this is Raven." She gestured to her Mare who was listening. "Yeah, I don't know many people."

Molly nodded, "Ya I just got here but I dont think I will be staying." she muttered.

Velvet gathered the herd just as the sunlight touched the tops on the trees. She needed to get them back into the herd territory. The whole day she drove them untill they at last reached the end of the woods. There was nothing but open plain streached out before them. They were home. She trotted down to the river to get a cool drink.

Butterscotch trotted around the barn feeling sleepy but not knowing how to get back to her stall in the far pasture.

"Oh, I see," Lexi said putting her tack kit on Lunar's stall door. "Well," she said looking at Molly again.

Molly waved to Kate and smiled. She then turned back to Lexi. "See I was never really invited here or told I could stay, so I guess Brander and I will be going off again." she said slightly sad. She loved it here.

"I'm sure no one will mind," Lexi said patting Lunar's neck

Molly brightened up. "I can stay? Really?! Ohh thank you so much!" she said happily and huged Lexi. Brander tossed his head up and down wondering what all the excitment was about.
