Dunny dismounted Desire and left him in the shelter of the trees. He crept forward and gently knocked on the door. "girls can you hear me?" he asked in barely audible whisper.

Desire snorted quietly. Though he bent to graze, he kept his eyes and ears on his master having sensed his tension.

Fides wiggled against Dunny chest hungry.

Gibbs was surprised to see the pile of droppings at the tee junction where he had lost them. He followed the route with the scattered droppings. He saw a large barn and pushed Wynne into the cover of the trees.

Wynne listened carefully to see if he could hear other horses.

Rowan paced up and down swearing and cursing and threatening. She jumped at Gibbs voice
"Yeah I'm here, when I get my hands on them," she said and did an odd movement with her hands. She put her arms round Butterscotch
"The poor foals so frightened," said Rowan and started to calm the foal down.
"There's a small window at the side, I'll break it," said Rowan to Gibbs and went and broke a very small window at the side pf the barn.

Dunny rushed round to the window. "could you pass me anything to break the lock? the foal can't get through the window." he though stating the obvious in a slight panic. If they could get them out maybe they could ride back.

Rowan went and got an old hammer that was at the back of the barn and handed it out to Dunny.
"Give the lock a whack with that," she said.

Dunny grabbed it firmly. "Make sure everyone is away from the doors, they might implode." He advised. He prepared to give the lock a large beat. "wait." he paused. "It may bring them out as i open the lock. We need a get away plan!"

Lunar heard voices and lifted his head up

"Don't worry about that, I'll take care of them," said Rowan. She may be smaller then them but when she got angry, she was deadly.

Dunny leaned closer to whisper through the door. "Believe me, I'm normally up for a fight. Any fight. But we have to keep the foal and the other horses safe. there were loads of them." He hoped they could get away before the men noticed the prisoners are free.
