Nowhere To Run -a semi-lit Hunger Games RP, accepting!-

You crash through the brush, panting heavily. The birds have all gone silent, perhaps sensing your fate. Or maybe they aren't real birds. Maybe they're a trap set for any unlucky tribute that happens by. A shout behind you reminds you of the danger you're in. The Careers are closing in on you. Suddenly, you hear nothing. Nothing at all.Then a twang, the unmistakeable sound of a bow firing. the arrow catches you between the shoulder blades, thrusting your limp body forward. You crash to the ground, knowing the last sound you'll ever hear is the Careers laughing, high fiving each other. As the world dissolves into a black mist, you can almost hear the cannon booming, announcing your death. One more tribute down.



This is the Hunger Games. A Quarter Quell. The awful twist- there will be no victor. Everyone, every tribute, will die. When it was announced, you were astonished. When you were reaped, you were speechless. You know there's no way out.

This is a Hunger Games RP, and I would like whoever joins to have read the first two books on the Hunger Games series, or at least the first one. You can have only two characters, but not from the same district. sorry...

The Arena:
Looks like a target from above, with alternating rings of forest, then prarie, then desert. The very outside ring is a river, and the circle in the middle is a small lake with an island in the middle, which the Cornucopia rests on.

RPIng example: [Do you mean this?] Sarah smirked. It was night time. The kill was in sight. She ran lightly and was hardly heard. As she moved forward towards the plump squirrel, a light flashed and the creature ran away. Feeling curious, Sarah silently treaded towards where the light came from. As she did, she heard loud humming. As she crept closer, a bird signalled an alarm. Feeling more curious, she padded forward and saw a car. What was it doing here? She squinted towards it and made out a figure opening the door. The figure had a dark cape and shaded glasses. It slowly approached her. Then she turned around to run to find the figure facing towards her and blocking her path. Then he reached out and she blacked out. She woke up in her bed. Just a dream! And sighed thankful it was only a dream.

"I volunteer!" he yelled and stepped in front of his older brother. "No! Peeta, don't do it!" John cried. But Peeta had already walked up to the stage. "Take care of im for me" he mouthed to his mother and then his flashback stopped. Peeta stood in his bedroom in the train. I'l do it for you John he thought.
