Emery stared accusingly at the boy who'd managed to bring him down, disregarding his apology completely. He didn't care for sorry words or explanations, he only wanted to get as far away from there as possible, and this kid wasn't helping. "Whatever." He hissed, throwing a cold look into the trees as he looked up. He hadn't heard anything, but sure enough someone else appeared from the forest. Perfect. Whoever it was, she didn't waste any time finding her way to him, or blaming the boy either. She'd given away his name too.

"He hasn't done anything." Emery huffed, not bothering to try and move away from her touch; he had been engulfed in numbness and could hardly feel her anyways. "Only scared me a bit, moving around in the dark." He might've gone on, asking her exactly why they were running around in the forest, and if they knew anything about either of the demon he'd encountered, if he wasn't forced to breathe. A poor excuse for sticking to silence, but breathing wasn't coming as naturally as it should for Emery.

Widget regarded the boy for a moment before extracting her hands and rising to her feet. She could tell well enough by the set of this boy's face that he wasn't the sort to accept help from a stranger. Leastwise, not right off the bat.

"Yeah, well, my brother can be a bit of a scary dude," Fizza said mockingly, throwing Joshua a withering look over her shoulder. Joshua was looking none too pleased. She turned back to the other kid. "You stayin' at one of the tourist spots?" she asked, gesturing with a jerk of her head back towards the road. "Goin' for a late night hike?" Fizza could feel the weight of her brother's glare on her neck but decidedly ignored it. Joshua didn't agree with her round-about method of questioning. Never had. But he wouldn't dare attempt to do otherwise while she already had the situation handled. At least, Widget didn't think so.

Elle let out a shaky sigh as she continued down the street. “Gosh it’s cold.” She complained to herself, pulling her hands from her pockets and rubbing them together in an attempt to heat them up somewhat. Dodging the puddles, the lady strode down the street, frowning as misty fog escaped her mouth. Yep, definitely cold, she thought to herself. “Nearly there,” She murmured in addition; her pace increasing slightly.

After another ten minutes, or so, of fast, forward walking, Elle came to slow. “Come out; come out where ever you are,” She chimed softly, listening to the echo with a faint smile. “I know you’re ‘ere.” Elle stated, her smile becoming clearer as she took several steps toward one of the crumbling buildings. What a place. She thought sarcastically, her expression becoming ever more smug.

((Sorry it took so-o-o-o-o-o long, Really, I am. -- But she's coming to get you now.))

(( I have a question, not sure is it has already been answered, nut oh well. Ok, here it is: Are you allowed to just have a demon character?? Then maybe you could meet a human then make the bond with them from the beginning... 83 ))

(( I'd advise you to take a look at the first page of this role play, as it appears you have not. ^^;;
The answer to your question will be there. ))

Emery snorted, putting his hands on the ground behind him to support himself as she got up and moved away from him. "Nothing so thrilling." He answered, looking away and towards Joshua. He wore such a bitter look, something Emery was all too familiar with. His head lolled to the side as he returned his gaze to the boy's sister, looking perfectly unamused. "I was looking for something." With a huff Emery pushed himself forward, leaning over himself without much grace. "But, I think I may have found it."

A sly smile traced Emery's lips, though it was not reflected in his eyes. Dulled as they were, they were hardly able to hold any sort of emotion; he looked to be on the verge of passing out. His smile was short lived, as passing out is exactly what happened to his body before he could move another inch. Without feeling it his body swayed, and closing his eyes instinctively for the impact, Emery fell back onto the forest floor.

Re: The Birth of a Demon [Accepting Forms]

Will make a picture. Hopefully soon.
Name : Tod ( A german noun for death )
Gender : We think male, but no one really wants to ask.
Age : No one has lived after asking his age, he doesn't really like to talk about it. Perhaps it is because of the dulling of his claws? It would suggest that he has been around for centuries...
Species : Demon | No Pact
Bio :
Awakened from a seemingly endless sleep, a great shadow spread across the land as he broke free from the bonds that had held him for so long. It was a time of weakness, his only opportunity to break free, so he took it. The world had changed so much since he had last risen, the fires had been long put out, the peace returned... But not for long. Demons were once again rampaging, some of them he knew, but many were too young for him to recognise...
It was said that he was there at the dawn of time, merely standing and watching as the pitiful world grew. It is also said that the first demons were spawned from him, but we all know that is very unlikely. He never really cared about Earth, the world was nothing to him, just it's inhabitants. Unlike the prey he had in the demon world, these were full of life, their blood running freely through their veins. It gave them emotions. Fear and hatred, sorrow and suffering. How he loved them. There have been rumours that say he once fed on the emotions alone, but the truth was far from it. He was a carnivore through and through.

He himself is recognised mainly for his way of slaughtering. He drags his victims up off the ground while hanging from a tree, strips them of flesh and then hangs the body from the tree by creating a hole in the branch and putting the foot up into it and through to the other side. He then marks it with a hair from his mane, place delicately between the big toe and the one next to it on the highest foot. It is left as a calling card, he likes to make his presense known.
Theme Song (optional) : Animal I have become - Three days grace
Other : I'll work on this. But is this enough to be accepted for now?

I will be here
when you think you’re all alone
Seeping through the cracks
I’m the poison in your bones
My love is your disease
I won't let it set you free
Til I break you

You’ll never know what hit you
Won’t see me closing in
I’m gonna make you suffer
This hell you put me in
I’m underneath your skin
The devil within
You’ll never know what hit you

I tried to be the lover to your nightmare
Look what you made of me
Now I’m a heavy burden that you can’t bear
Look what you made of me
Look what you made of me
I’ll make you see

Laqueta Myra Stillman

~Servatis a periculum~
::Fallen angels at my feet
Whispered voices at my ear
Death before my eyes
Lying next to me I fear::

Laqueta felt Whisper suddenly tense behind her, and she turned around to face the demoness. Whisper was standing at the window now though, her large black eyes narrowed to slits in her head.

"Lookie lookie," she sang over to Laqueta, pointing with one finger to the deserted street outside. "See what I see?" Laqueta strode over to where Whisper stood pointing, a childish smirk stretching her monochromatic face. What she saw was a young woman with long brown hair ambling down an avenue of the Tombs. She certainly wasn't homeless; Laqueta could tell it by the cut of her clothes. And she had a feeling what her purpose was, too, though she wished down to her bones that it wasn't true. Whisper was grinning now, row upon row of serrated teeth showing.

"Let's make her squirm," the demoness trilled as the woman stopped beneath their squat and called out, a smile tweaking her face. Laqueta shook her head firmly, crossing her arms over her chest, but there was no arguing with Whisper - already she had dissolved from the form of a innocent school girl and into a shadow upon the concrete floor, which wound its way over the windowsill and down to the street below. Laqueta sighed, watching as the shadow that was Whisper neared the woman down below. This was always the way. And if Laqueta didn't intervene, the death this meddler received would be of a far steeper price. She withdrew, making her silent way down the abandoned complex's steps.

::She beckons me
Shall I give in
Upon my end shall I begin
Forsaking all I've fallen for
I rise to meet the end::

~Servatis a maleficum~

Fizza "Widget" Ironside

~Hooked into machine~
I count all my blessings
I have friends in high places

Both Ironside orphans were so taken aback by this rather sudden turn of events that neither made any move but to stare at the unconscious boy for the span of a few moments.

"Well he found something, I'll give him that," Joshua mumbled sarcastically after a beat. "His head found the ground, that's what." He was rewarded with a swift punch in the shoulder.

"Shut up! C'mon, help me carry him," Fizza hissed, going down on her knees again and beginning to heft the limp boy off the ground. Joshua was incredulous.

"What! Are you mad? We can't just take him back to headquarters! What the hell would the others say?" Fizza grunted as she struggled to stand, using her legs to support both her weight and the boy's.

"Who gives a flying rat what the others might say? He's hurt, Joshua! We can't very well leave him out in the middle of the Rockies to bleed to death, can we? And since your not going to help - " Widget started off without her brother, trekking through the woods and teetering a little with the injured boy in her arms. Luckily, he was small enough not to be too weighty.

"That's hardly the point," Joshua continued, trailing after his sister. "What if he's a Key Bearer? Or a demon! And if neither, we also can't very well let a non-Hunter into the Caves, now can we?" But Widget wasn't listening anymore. Throughout the rest of the hike back to the secret hatch Joshua ranted, trying to make Fizza see reason, until at least the two siblings lapsed into an uneasy silence. There wasn't much use in trying to dissuade an Ironside girl.
~....~

Fizza had laid the boy down on the pallet in her workshop. Joshua was sulking in one corner, not lending anything more than the occasional terse comment, while his sister went about tending to their guest's injuries. Widget had his shirt torn open and a bowl of water beside the pallet. Bloodied rags littered the floor, and water glinted off the boy's skin where Fizza had washed the cuts clean by the light of the gas lamps. For the moment, she was keeping well away from the area of the misplaced rib, too afraid to attempt to pop it back into place. She prodded at the bone tenderly, testing the bruises there. At least she had succeeded in cleaning him up.

{Did a little time lapse back to Widget's workshop. Is it alright that Joshua refers to the Demon Hunter HQ as "the Caves"?}
