In my past, bittersweet;
There's no love between the sheet
Taste the blood, broken dreams
Emery stared accusingly at the boy who'd managed to bring him down, disregarding his apology completely. He didn't care for sorry words or explanations, he only wanted to get as far away from there as possible, and this kid wasn't helping. "Whatever." He hissed, throwing a cold look into the trees as he looked up. He hadn't heard anything, but sure enough someone else appeared from the forest. Perfect. Whoever it was, she didn't waste any time finding her way to him, or blaming the boy either. She'd given away his name too.
"He hasn't done anything." Emery huffed, not bothering to try and move away from her touch; he had been engulfed in numbness and could hardly feel her anyways. "Only scared me a bit, moving around in the dark." He might've gone on, asking her exactly why they were running around in the forest, and if they knew anything about either of the demon he'd encountered, if he wasn't forced to breathe. A poor excuse for sticking to silence, but breathing wasn't coming as naturally as it should for Emery.
Lonely times indeed
