Gaenor laughed as he watched the rubble fall and Obelisk leap to where the demon knew his bearer was. ‘You run! Typical!’ This pathetic strategy was nothing to him. After all, he wasn’t called an apparition for nothing. As the debris came tumbling down, closer until it seemed Gaenor would be crushed, the demon’s black body dissipated like smoke, and everything went straight through him. The wisps (his body) drifted in the breeze and followed Obelisk, taking its time to connect again. This could be fun, watching his bearer abused.
Yukino had the strangest, yet familiar feeling that Gaenor was just going to sit back for a bit. He enjoyed watching her battles, and as this was the first with an actual demon, it must be thrilling for him. It was so annoying to have a partner with literally no shred of responsibility in his ever-changing body. This was not the time to be annoyed, however, with the demon called Obelisk hurtling towards her. After she survived this, she might consider uselessly scolding Gaenor.
The only thing Yukino could at the moment was run; run as fast and as long as the demon powers allowed her. How long that would last she didn’t know. Obelisk, after all, was a full demon, and she was a human with a contract. Hopefully this would delay the inevitable until she thought of a plan. Evaporating, like Gaenor did, was not exactly the best choice. She would be trapped, and as easy as it is putting herself back together again, it was constricting. Only she knew Gaenor’s weakness, now her weakness. The weakness he kept from all other beings. A weakness so ridiculous she couldn’t believe it, but everything had a weakness, and at least his made sense.
Yukino dodged the impending doom written across Obelisk’s claw and dripping in his words as he called her, her heart beating faster as a rush of adrenaline pushed at her viens. To the side, and as the demon tore apart where she was previously, she landed behind him and jumped to the next roof in the matter of a second. Her body continued its furious running while her mind worked overtime thinking of an ability of Gaenor’s, any ability, that would help her right now.

I've been dumped a boatload of work to do before college, so I will post when I can. Life is my nemesis.
