((gah, sorry I was gone, it was my grandma's 90th birthday today.

))
Tyler had stood in silence and let Sev take the wheel for a little bit. Soon enough though, the accusations and Severus's all to big of a heart got the better of him. He couldn't help but roll his eyes at Sev's comment on the jacket and decided to intervene before Harlow compromised him any further. He looked straight at Harlow as he spoke, but was talking to Nikki.
"The followers talk about getting away because not all of them see the real problem at hand. A lot of them probably have no idea just how many death crawlers are out there in the first place. Its happened all over history. Leaders keep the people in the dark to shield them from whats really going on . . . .and usually the people don't like it and try to change it. That's when the problems occur. The people breakout and try to figure out the problems themselves, sometimes they succeed; but most of the time the real danger the leaders have been protecting them from destroys them.: He finished, now talking to both of the girls.
"While I agree that getting out of here is the best possible thing for us, I am not taking one foot out of this station until you gove me a damn good plan of what we're doing once we do get out. Cause anyone can have a plan on how to escape, but how to we know if the world has changed completely since we've been away from it? What if our food sources that we knew of before are wiped clean? What
then?"

Avery ignored Maria's words. "What the h*** does Nikki even see in Tyler? He's an arrogant jerk who just so happens to be a leader." The boy wondered out loud. He sat on the floor of the subway station with his knees up to his chest. 'I wish Harlow hadn't left.'
Maria was surprised, was that a flicker of anger that went through her just now? She sure hoped not. But she knew she was biased, she didn't consider Tyler arrogant at all, only misunderstood.
He just trying to help all of us . . . . Her voice felt small even inside her head. She tucked a blonde strand of hair from her face, her eyes intent on the conversation in front of them. She knew Avery wouldn't like that response.
"I don't think people just 'happen to be leader'. You have to earn it somehow." Her tone was flat, neither in favor or against. She smiled though and put an arm around Avery's shoulder, in a friendly way of course. She kind of saw Avery as a cousin or something. She knew he wasn't so much upset about Tyler as he was . . . .
ah its not my place to to barge in.
