Lyta shook Dawn's hand, " is it me or does Dr. Eddy seem creepy. So anyway what's your 'talent'. If you don't mind me askin'?" she asked. "I'm a telepath, a mind reader.

"I got the same vibe, don't worry."Dawn giggled, and then continued on to the next question. "I'm a shape-shifter.. But, reading minds would be so much cooler!"

[Wild Mothman]

"Milah, my twin is a cat 'shifter. she's around her somewhere. Mind reading is cool, except in cases like this, large numbers of people with a strong emotion plus telepath equals headache" Lyta joked, "Sometimes i wish i was a shifter, so i wouldn't have to build blocks between my mind and those of others"

"Well, I guess I didn't think about that... It would still be awesome though!" Dawn smiled. 'I actually made a friend!' She thought almost instantly. "And I guess shape shifting can be cool, but my parents are really uptight about it. They don't like me doing it at all."

"Really? Mine are fine with me and Milah using our 'gifts' except Milah spent a lot of time in kitten form when she was little and it overwrote some of her genetic code, i think. now she's a cat-girl." Lyta smiled as she picked up Dawn's thought. "You wanna come over, hang out after school?" She asked

Dawn nodded. "Yeah, that would be really fun! And you two are lucky. My parents say I can't use it when anyone's over or I'm grounded for a month.." She rolled her eyes and sighed. 'I wish I got to have ears that stayed.' She thought, thinking of Lyta's sister the 'cat-girl', as Lyta called her.

"Well that sucks, mine tried for a while, but since i'm a telepath. it's a little harder to control. and Milah likes playing with the cats as a cat, so it works" Lyta replied

"Hey Lee, who ya talking too" Milah said coming over to her sister.

"Milah, this is Dawn, she's a friend. Dawn. this is Milah, my geeky 'cat-girl' twin sister" Lyta introduced Milah to Dawn.

Dawn smiled and held out her hand. "Nice to meet you Milah."

"You too Dawn." Milah replied, " Hey, is it weird that i get a mad scientist vibe of Dr. Ed"

"Not just you, and my power didn't work" Lyta replied, "It always works, i tried on his assistants too. but nothing but static from the rest of the minds"

"It's weird.. So, Milah, I heard you can cat-shift?" Dawn asked, trying to change the subject. Talking about the Dr. Eddy guy was making her feel insecure for some reason.
