She looked at him
"along time, I don't know where everyone went I just found myself alone" she told him

"If I make it out alive," Kate said darkly. "I hope I do. I wouldn't mind seeing if I could retire from this whole Spartan thing."

Raptor nodded.
"Kate and I used to have three others on our team. All three were killed a few months ago," he said sadly. "The loss of our team made Kate even more nasty than before . . ."

[Monstercat]

Grey nodded
"yeah they probably dead" she told him

[The wild one]

Raptor sighed and pushed himself to his feet.
"I know my team mates are dead. I watched it happen. The sad thing is, they weren't killed by the Covenant. They were executed by the UNSC," he said, scowling at the ground.

Kate slung her rifle over her back. She shook her head again to get rid of the water in her hair.
"I have no plans to die for the UNSC, anyway," she said darkly.

Grey stared
"why?" she asked

[The wild one]

"They were accused of treason for trying to take a second-generation Spartan and put her on one of the civilian transports. Kate would have been shot too, but they covered for her," Raptor said.

Kate lifted her sniper rifle again.

Grey nodded

[The wild one]

Raptor shook his head sadly.
"I don't know what happened to the kid they tried to steal," he said. "That kid is the reason why Kate is so nasty." He scowled at the floor.

Grey nodded again

Delta suddenly appeared.
"I have detected ten heat signatures coming from the west. Possibly Covenant," he said. Raptor nodded and loaded his DMR quickly. He looked at Grey again.
"Let's head to the roof. We'll be able to see them coming," he said, putting his helmet on.
