(I'm back home, so I get to reply more :3)
Germany watched as New Zealand pushed past everyone and headed down to the entrance of the arena. He bit his lip as he realised that the door opened with a loud thud, praying to himself that the men in the other room didn't hear anything. He quickly ran down the steps to where New Zealand was, and grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back.
"Do you vant to get us killed!?" he snapped at her. The last thing they needed was to have either the entire building explode, or have those men come back. "Somezing isn't vight about all of zis. Stay outside zis door vhile I get Romania," he ordered, glaring slightly at the southern country. He could tell that she wasn't experienced in this kind of situations, while Germany was so used to them back from the countless wars he was in.
Germany walked inside of the room, noticing several wires that were connected to a bomb. As if that wasn't enough, the wires were almost attached to the bottom of the chair, so if she even moved a few centimeters on the chair it would rig to explode. He came up behind her, noticing how she was beginning to tremble and shout like a madwoman as she couldn't see who was behind her.
--
Romania lifted her head as she heard the loud bang of the door behind her open. She attempted to turn her head to see who it was, but she couldn't see the door even if she tried. "Who's there!?" she yelled, thrashing her head. "I swear if that's one of your stupid thugs attempting to seduce me I'm going to-!" Suddenly Romania's breath fell short as her chin was pulled up quickly and her lips met somebody else's. Unlike the rest of the thugs, this person was much more gentle and didn't try to grip her with force.
Romania suddenly jerked her head back, thinking that it was probably one of the men trying a different strategy on her. But to her surprise, it was somebody who she wanted to see more than anybody. "Germany!?" Romania gasped, a look of pure happiness upon her face. "How did you...?!"
"I had a little help from Russia unt New Zealand. Zey sav vhere your kidnappers took you. Maine is here as vell," he explained, then smirked slightly as he looked at her. "Did you seriously zink I vas one of zose people?" he chuckled, rolling his eyes.
"Well I didn't expect to see you here! But thank goodness you're here! I can't move anywhere, or else I'm going to trigger those barrels and blow this thing into oblivion. I need you to undo the ropes so that I can get up from the chair," she muttered, and before Romania knew it she felt a small tug on her hands and the sound of a knife ripping through the ropes. Germany had walked behind her and was cutting her free of this prison the men had placed her in.
"I must thank you for that little kiss, however. Germany... you confuse me more than anyone I know. I never know when you're going to do something like that. You're always so strict and serious, but then you can be so kind and compassionate..." Romania whispered, closing her eyes once again. "You're a mystery."
Suddenly she felt the tension in her hands and feet disappear, and carefulyl she stood up from the chair without touching any of the wires. She walked around teh chair and up to Germany, placing a hand on his cheek. "Thank you," she whispered, kissing him on the lips gently as he had done to her. She then looked behind him and saw Russia, New Zealand, and Maine all standing there. Her face blushed a furious pink as she saw them, feeling a little embaressed on what she and Germany had done in front of them. Russia and New Zealand didn't know yet...
Her feet suddenly left the ground and her entire body was lifted up into Germany's arms. "Hey! I can walk!" Romania snapped, folding her arms across her chest. "Yes, but I enjoy zis better," Germany muttered, a large smirk on his face. Romania simply rolled her eyes, leaning her head against his collarbone. Germany walked out of the explosive room and look at the three of them, letting out a sigh of relief.
"Let's get out of zis place," Germany told them, glancing up at the entrance. They had all came for one thing, and now that Romania was safe it was best if they left as quickly as possible before the men came back and saw their hostage was gone.
