Prussia nodded at her, releasing a slight yawn. "Got it. Whatever." He turned and walked down the hallway, peering around in each room for a while until he spotted movement, and found a smallish girl sitting on a bed, flipping through a children's book. "Hey," he started, opening the door wider. "Come out into the living room for a minute. Li- err, Elizabeta's here and wants to see you." He just hoped she wouldn't smack him with her book.
She eyed him somewhat warily, though soon smiled and nodded. "Okay!" Setting the book down, she approached Prussia, head cocking to the side in slight confusion. "Who are you?"
"Gilbert! The awesomest guy you'll probably ever meet. Now come on, kid."
"My name's... Janka..." She still felt slightly uncertain about this stranger, especially with everything they warned one about strangers in school.
"Awesome. Come on, Janka, before Liz smacks me with the coffee table."
That earned him a laugh from the girl. "That's just silly!"
"There's nothing silly about it. It hurts. Like, really bad." All the same, he gave a small smirk and ruffled her hair, nudging her on the shoulder and eventually managing to get her out into the livingroom. "Found her."
So how do you p o r t r a y the sentiment?
The ruse is b r o u g h t, the truth is b e n t.
We never f e e l right, long nights,
F o l l o w i n g into the day.
Dead as the street light, pure white,
W a s h i n g the color away.
