Erinn snorted, and then sighed. Boys.... she thought. She flew with him. She let the water gently touch the tips of her feet, and flapped her wings ever so gently. "Samuel, where are we going?"

[Pandora!]

~Samuel~

I took a few minutes to ponder the question, before slowly banking to the right and heading back to the beach. "Don't know, really. I just wanted to fly I guess."

Erinn nodded. "Well, do you want to go back to the house? It's where the pack is."

[Pandora!]

I nodded, and with a few powerful wing strokes I had flown up the rocky beach and was once again over the snow capped trees of the forest.

Erinn flew ahead of Samuel, letting him follow her to the pack's home. It was her home, too. The pack alphas, Viktor and Valerie, adopted in many wolves, who, most likely, were orphaned by their parents under extreme circumstances.

Erinn was one of those cases. When she was just four years old, her small, Vermont home was engulved by fire. She managed to escape safely, but her parents, in an effort to save her pet dog and her baby sister, were engluved by the flames. She ran into the house after the fire was gone, and saw her parents' skeletions. Her dog, Lady, managed to run away out of the doggy-door, and was taken into a rescue shelter. Her baby sister was rescued, too, but passed away from smoke inhalation... she was only six months old.

She landed herself, flying against the wind, and came upon her pack's river. She got a drink, sipping cold, crisp water, tears seeping through her eyelids. She wanted to hide them from Samuel. She lifted her wings to hide her face, but made it look like she was cooling off.

I followed close behind, matching my wing strokes to Erinn's. But as soon as Erinn landed, I saw the tears and I kept my distance. I just couldn't take girls and emotions, it just never worked. I phased back to being human, and pretended to pay no attention whatsoever to her, and instead played with a flame on my finger tips once again. I slowly ambled my way down river until I was a good 50 feet away, still keeping my attention on the flame.

Erinn composed herself, shifted into human form for the first time, and stood near Samuel.

"Sorry, let's go back."

I turned, and was surprised to see that Erinn had phased. I decided that her wolf form did her no justice; she was, well... pretty. I blinked quickly to clear my head before agreeing, "Yeah, alright."

I phased and launched myself up through the tree tops.

Erinn followed. She was panting like she does in her wolf form. "Come on, Samuel, the pack's home is this way." She lauched herself onto a Cherry tree, it's beautiful pink buds shining.

((Sorry for not being able to respond lately. I've had rehearsal every day this week and for like six hours today. I probably won't be on much at all next week, but after that I'll be able to respond more often.))
