The axe Davonte carried went flying from his grasp as his arm flew out to balance himself when Lucinda fell on him. He crashed to the ground pretty hard, but he knew he was down a weapon and being on the bottom of a heap was always a bad thing, so he used the arm he had underneath him to flip himself over so he was on top of her. He tried grabbing for her wrists furiously, when he was sidetracked by her face. He stopped what he was doing and found himself gaping at her, his eyes fixed on hers. Then a silly grin took over his face, a look he had not yet expressed to Lucinda and the others, and it made his face look softer. "I'm not sure how I managed to go this whole day without noticing your beautiful eyes. In case we weren't properly introduced earlier, my name is Davonte Fouquet." He took her wrist and pressed his lips to the top of her hand, but he wasn't moving. They were still fighting and he wasn't about to give ground to a pretty girl, but there was an opening there for Lucinda to play his conscience.
((This is where he gets kicked in the face for being dumb ;D ))
