This is a school of magic! You will learn many things here! All witches and Wizards start out when they turn eleven, your letter will be posted below! Now once you get your letter be sure to follow the instructions, and gather all your things. You will be brought to Hogwarts and there you will learn all there is to know about magic. You will be taught under the finest professors that one can get. Have fun and also be careful as there are many dangerous things at Hogwarts, the forests on the grounds are teaming with wildlife and mythical creatures that one must see in order to believe!

Remember Learn what you can, one day it may save your life!

The Letter:

HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY

Dear Mr/Ms [Surname]

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY

UNIFORM

First-year students will require:
1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)
2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear
3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
4. One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings)
Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.

Students may also bring, if they desire, an owl OR a cat OR a toad.

PARENTS ARE REMINDED THAT FIRST YEARS ARE NOT ALLOWED THEIR OWN BROOMSTICK

Role Play Rules

1. All Forum Rules Apply!
2. You may have up to four characters!
3. You CAN be a professor if you would like!
4. No god modding!
5. Hate the character not the player!
6. LGBTQ+ is allowed! But do not force it on others characters. Please respect characters gender and identity! Thank you!
7. 4-5 sentences per post!
8. PM me if you have any suggestions to the plot! Still looking for ideas!
9. You must have 1 Year One character/to be sorted character
10. Please do not have all your characters in the same house, keep them roughly even.
