Izaya chuckled, looking over to her and raising an eyebrow. He looked up to the ceiling, squinting one eye. "I guess I am." He answered and looked sideways at her.

Mei raised an eyebrow as he winked and smiled friendly. She slipped out a piece of paper and wrote her number down in a very neat, yet Halloween-like font. She smiled and adjusted her books to be more symmetrical on the desk.
(( OOC: Laila: DO NOT, YOU STUPID OGRE! D:<
Just for that... >:D -begins typing-
Laila: NOOO! HE'LL JUST LOOK UP MY DRESS IF WE GO OUT! Dx ))
Laila managed a small smile and peered up at Izaya, his voice soothing to her. When he looked to her, she looked down with a hot blush, trying to avoid his gaze. 'Why am I acting up!? This is so stupid.' Despite her thoughts, Laila felt something surge inside of her. It felt like something were creeping up her back, and crawling into her mind, completely taking over. Locking her gaze onto Izaya's, Laila slowly moved closer, her lips but an inch from Izaya's. Keeping her eyes on the boy, she was about to close in, when..."Sasaki?" Coming back to reality, Laila blinked rapidly, tossing her head away from Izaya's in a flurry of panic. She sat back quickly, causing pain to streak through her, which in turn made the girl shriek.
The secretary - who'd called her last name - left the infirmary, and two school nurses trailed after her. Hearing the girl's scream, they bustled over to her, whispering quietly to each other in what sounded like gibberish. It wasn't, their voices were just quiet, but Laila was so pained that she couldn't tell a rock from a squirrel. Helped to her feet, the girl hobbled into the infirmary, moaning in protest. The door slid shut when she was inside, and the secretary shook her head, writing something in a book in front of her. "That's the third person Shizuo has injured this week. I'd suggest not entering; by the looks of the injuries, I'm guessing they'll have to undress the poor pet."
