Roxy opened her eyes, and watched as erevyone was walking to class hurilily. she sat up and hugged her knees and started to cry. she didn't know why, she just did. she didn't really have any friends, or know where she was supposed to be, or even care. (someone can come? maybe see her through the window? idk, lol)


Alex nodded, and started to walk to where he was supposed to go with his books he got from his locker. he walked inside, and sat next to a girl. he hadn't seen her before, but it was one of few available seats left in the room. there was also one next to him, but he decided to take the one next to her. "my names Alex." he said simply, with a half smile on his face as he looked at her. (next to Mei btw.)

Ciel sighed, writing down another answer. He wondered how many times Oz was typically tardy in the first place. He had almost been tardy himself, and thought about the unconcious girl at the table..

Oz wasn't able to finish all the questions by the time the teacher began the discussion. Not like he cared. Almost instantly, he zoned out. A bad habit of his that he never really fixed nor wanted to fix. He didn't care for literature that he had to read. He perfered it to be pleasurable reading and not some sort of dumb assignment.

Mei looked over silently and smiled faintly. "Nice to meet you. I'm Mei." She said. The boy looked faintly familiar, but she shook it off and smiled politely. She twirled her pencil around in her fingers boredly.

Alex noticed that she wasn't blushing, and gave a Broder smile. "nice to meet you too." he said "so, are you knew here?" he added trying to make conversation with this girl.

Laila growled as the boy spoke, and brushed past her like she wasn't even human. She hated when people talked down to her - even if she did it to other people all of the time. People often called her a hypocrite, and Laila would often agree, simply because she knew she was one. Whirling around, Laila eyed the back of the boy's head, and let out an angry grunt. She struck a short, sharp kick at the back of his knee; hopefully, it would cause his one leg to give out momentarily, just enough to get his attention. Laila didn't know if she actually hit her target or not, but it wouldn't matter, as the loud THWACK her foot gave off as it hit the tile would attract his attention anyway. "Leave him alone, you stupid little runt," Laila growled, venom in her voice making the words a deadly weapon. "Or I'll take matters into my own hands." Perhaps the blonde-haired boy wouldn't believe that Laila could fight. She was, after all, a slightly lanky girl. Well, if he doubted her, he could test her out for himself.

Mei looked him over once. "Pretty much, yes." She said, shrugging faintly.

Shizuo felt the kick, but stiffened his calf muscles so he wouldn't fall. Still gripping Orihara's shirt, he looked back at the girl. "Runt? I'm at least two years older then you, not to mention I'm about inches taller." He said, rolling his eyes and pulling Izaya to his feet, still gripping his shirt. Izaya smiled like a little kid who knew he was in trouble, but whom found it funny.

Laila snarled and stepped forward; she had had enough of the blonde boy's attitude, not to mention she didn't want to see Izaya get hurt. Her hand shot out at the blonde boy's, which was holding Izaya up, and grabbed his arm by the wrist. She stood slightly in front of Izaya, yet slightly beside, and glared at the older boy. "The bigger they are, the stupider. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. There's a lot more where those came from, so you should assume your size doesn't scare me." Laila clenched her other hand into a fist; she didn't understand what was happening. Usually, she would have backed away from such a strong opponent, but it was as if Izaya was...manipulating her. It was the only logical explanation. With a growl, she launched her fist at the other boy's face, fury taking over all of her emotions.

Shizuo ducked down, grabbing her by the legs and attempting to pick her up. In the process, He let go of Izaya and Izaya stumbled backwards. He slipped out his pocketknife and waited for an opening, staring at the Blonde boy.

Laila shrieked in anger as her opponent ducked down, and in a moment, she was over his shoulder. Growling, she thrashed her legs, feeling her face go beet red. She was, after all, wearing a dress, which wasn't exactly as long as she wished it to be. Laila heard the sharp, metallic flick of a knife, and silently feared for her life; what if the knife was the blonde boy's? "What are you going to do, kidnap me?" She taunted, meanwhile looking down his back. With a snicker, she wriggled her arm free from being pinned to the boy's neck, and launched her elbow at his kidney.

Shizuo glanced over and rolled his eyes. "Your too predictable, Orihara." He growled, setting the girl down and pushing her, planning on sliding her down the hall. He grabbed the door of a locker and pulled it off, Tossing it at Izaya. Izaya laughed, ducking and darting past him. Suddenly, a slit appeared down the middle of Shizuo's shirt, and Izaya chuckled.
