Dawn quickly shifted her gaze to the trees around them, shifting suddenly into her wolf form. She stood in front of Tristan, in a protecting way, as she searched for a sign of anyone. "Who's there?" She called out to the darkness of the forests and the shadows of the trees

Standing slightly behind his friend, Tristan stepped forward to be at her side. "You don't have to protect me." He said quietly, looking down at the female who had just transformed. He glanced back ahead, keeping quiet now in case whoever it was made another noise; they could hear if he or she was close by and such.

"No, im not a threat." Juliette said, making an appearance.

Dawn lifted her head slightly as the female appeared in front of them. A low growl erupted in her throat as she took a defensive stance, stepping back in front of Tristan. "Vampire." She spat in a mutter, under her breath. Her ears pinned back against her furry head, while her nails slid into the soft ground from her paws.

Tristan stood silently behind her. He had heard so much about vampires, and never really felt sympathy for them. He studied the female vampire then glanced at Dawn, watching her body language; clearly she wasn't happy about this scene. They both thought of her, or any others of her kind, as threats, even if they claimed not to be one. But the human stayed quiet, making sure to slow his heart rate so he didn't seem anxious.

"I know you guys are told by so many others that 'oh we arent a threat' Well im not, i hunt a couple states away, so your human, and anybody else here is okay. Dont think that you can keep your thoughts from me." She said tapping her skull "Im a mind reader, and I can see the future."

"If you dare lay a hand on either of us, I'll make sure you will not be able to see the future past then." Dawn mumbled, threatening to mess her up is she tried to hurt either of them. "But now that I know what you are, who are you?" She asked. She was always harsh with Vampires, but it was only a precaution. She wouldn't let up on this female, because she didn't trust her, and could not be persuaded to either. Trust, for her, took a while to build up. Which is why Dawn protected Tristan to much; he was the only one who she truly trusted.

"I am Juliette" She said to the shifter's harsh face. "And its not like i chose to be a vampire." She said. "Who are you?"

Dawn nodded softly, her expression slightly softened but she was still remaining cautious, as she always was around newcomers and Vampires. She slowly stood on her two hind legs, like a true Lycan would do in his or her wolf form. She looked at her paws, sliding her nails back in, before glancing back at the female, Juliette. "Dawn." She replied shortly.

Watching his friend with curiosity and wonder for a moment, Tristan smiled a bit. He shifted his gaze back to the vampire who claimed herself to be called Juliette, then slowly nodded. "I'm Tristan." He said in a quiet tone.
