Masen smiled "i'm just scared one of these days your just gonna walk out to be with them and never come back and i'll never see my child" his eyes teared up again.

"That will never happen." Piper paused. "There is a way..to take the werewolf out of me." She wiped the tears from his eyes.

"are you willing to though" he looked into her eyes.

Piper looked deep into his eyes. She remembered her puphood. About tumbling through the forest laughing and barking at the older wolves. Then her thoughts turned to Masen. About how they'd met and fallen in love. She nodded. Her decision was made. "Yes. I'm willing."

"how" his voice was now weak.

Piper smiled. "You let me worry about that." She took his hands and led him to the bedroom. "Go to sleep, my love. When the dawn comes and you awake, you will find a different Piper waiting for you."

Masen pulled her in close kissing her lips and belly for ages at a time "i love you my lil pip" he pashed her lovingly.

Piper smiled and pashed him back. "As I love you." She placed her hand over his eyes. "Sleep." She turned and left the room, shutting the door behind her.

Masen didn't sleep the whole night he just sat up in bed watching the door with Kiki asleep in his lap.

Piper opened the bedroom door when the sun broke in through the window. She had changed. Her skin was less tan, a little paler than normal. Her bright green eyes were darker to a forest-green. Her hair was darker, closer to brown than blonde. She smiled at him. "Morning."
