Piper looked up at him. "I saw that." She grinned and went back to playing with the puppy.

Elroy kissed her back, wrapping his arms around her.

Masen grinned and unpacked everything before laying on the couch.

Katie relaxed in his arms smiling.

Howls filled the air, and Piper sat up, her eyes darting around and her head snapping to the door and windows. Kiki howled too, but she put a finger to her lips and patted her head. She stood. "The pack has called a meeting."

Masen didn't pay attention to the howling "so?" he looked at her his face showed no emotion at all.

"So? They're close. Very close." Piper began to pace. "I need to go..I am part of the pack. But..I can't. I can't go." She sighed. "I'm so confused. I don't know what I am. Am I werewolf? Am I human? What am I?"

Masen got up and held her tight "your my fiancée" he kissed her nose "making you human" he smiled softly looking into her eyes.

Piper smiled and kissed his forehead. "Good." But did she want to be human? Did she want to be average? No more running through the forest with the power of the wolf at her clawtips..no more hunting with the pack or playing with the pups..

Masen saw the sadness in her eye's "go" he let go of her "go to your pack, go to your meeting" he picked up kiki.

"You don't understand what it's like for me. But if you want me gone...then fine." Piper took off the ring. "Being half werewolf is hard. Put yourself in my shoes and you might understand a microscopic portion of what I'm feeling." She placed it on the table, turned, and ran.
