Alex rose an eyebrow. "Jealous, Rowan?" He asked, smirking slightly. "Maybe you need a bit of a distraction from us..." He grinned, looking at Xaria. She chuckled drily, rolling her eyes slightly. "Perv..." She mumbled.

Rowan smirked. "I'm not going to use her just to please myself. When she wants me like that, then all she has to do is say something."

Misti snorted and finished her lunch. She goes to say something but coughs, her skin turning a greenish color.

Alex rolled his eyes at him. He quickly looked serious though. "Misti...?" He said worriedly. He reached over to touch her and lift her face to look at him. "Are you feeling okay?" He asked, even though it was a silly question to ask. He frowned, going over to her side of the table and sittig beside her. Xaria slipped from Rowan's grasp. She bit her lip, looking worried for her new friend.

Misti swallowed hard. "I feel..sick. And so thirsty."

Rowan frowned. "Alex, carry her upstairs. Xaria go with him. I'll be there in a moment after I ask the nurse something." He stood and bolted away, vanishing from sight at an inhuman speed.They were vampires after all.

Alex took her in his arms gently, runnin upstairs and laying her gently down on her bed. He stroked her hair gently, almost sick himself with worry as he sat by her side. He looked up as Xaria entered the room, sitting by Misti's other side on the bed.

Misti coughed violently, her skin turning a sickly green-yellow color. "Alex...I don't...I don't know if I'll make it."

Rowan talked to the nurse, nodding and hissing every once in a while.

Alex shook his head quickly, his expression distraught. "Please don't say things like that." He said, tears coming to his eyes as he thought about losing her. "You can't leave me..." He said, holding her hand in his.

Misti closed her eyes, dark circles underneath them. "You'll be okay...you can find someone else if Rowan doesn't find a cure for whatever's wrong with me."

Alex shook his head, pressing his lips to hers gently. "I can't..." He whispered, not afraid for his own health. "I've never felt this way with anyone else." He told her, shaking his head again in denial.

Misti placed her hand on his cheek and tried to smile. "It's going to be okay. Either way..it will all be okay." She coughed again, shutting her eyes tight.

Rowan burst into the room, shutting the door behind him. "She needs blood."
