(Okay accepted you guys can post now and please don't spam berry.. Yes the book Angel did disappoint me as well. Dont' post any spoilers in case others didn't read all of the books. I already did but I want to be fair to the others who hadn't.)

Ryu lifted his gaze when he figured Rin was speaking to herself. "You sure you okay?" Ryu asked after pulling up near Rin but still remained above her. The girl truly had him curious, she was a leader earlier and even setting up a plan for the flock but now she seemed to fumble everytime he pulls up. He wondered if he would get to the bottom of it but this was not as important as getting the flock safe and away from the School's reach.

Avalon nodded and extended her big. She gave them a test flap and finally launched herself into the clear blue sky. She soared up higher and higher until she began feeling an immense chill. She then did a divebomb and somehow managed to stop right next to Damian. She looked over at him, her black hair flowing behind her, and asked, "So, do you know where exactly we're going?"

Rin winced. "Just...Fine.....", she said shakily, then quietly laughed at the contradiction in that sentence. "So Ryu, uh, well", she stuttered, then chickened out,"Its a nice day...", The girl grimaced at herself, and slapped herself in the forehead. FAIL. Rin thought to herself.

Damian shrugged a bit. "Bird kids have the natural sense of direction or something, I guess. Why, don't you?" He wondered and asked back in return. He heard the light wing beats of Lilium finally catching up behind him but she always kept her distance. With a quick glance towards the ground, he glided back down towards the tree line. Avioding a few branches by tucking in his wings a bit and then fully pulling them togather once he stood on solid ground. Back where Avalon fell from the tree and encountered her for a first.

Ryu was trying to sort out the emotions Rin was giving off but there were so many at once, it was confusing and Ryu gave up on trying to figure it out at all. He sighed a bit when Rin asked a question that was off topic but he gave a mental shrug before answering. "It's alright," He replied lightly and glanced towards the ground where Damian and the others should be.

Midnight was led back to her crate for the night. She acted like she was exhausted, though she wasn't. Everyone left the area and all of the lights snapped off. Tonight would be the night to escape, Midnight thought.

[Le Chi]

Avalon's face cringed up, and she busted out laughing. She herself was laughing so hard she was unconciously decending, and almost fell flat on her face. She managed to half-land on the ground and was still laughing. She wiped away a few tears, and caught her breath again. She straighted up and said to him, "No! I mean, where are we going? Which state, or city, or country, or wherever." She still had a wide grin upon her delicate face.

Lilium placed a hand over her mouth when Avalon began laughing. She wanted to laugh too but surpressed a giggle as she remained by Damian until he gave her a quick glare. Her smile was plastered across her face but she held her hands behind her back as her dark wings folded. Her violet eyes shifting away but continued to listen since Avalon did make a point. Where were they really? Not like they have an automatic map implanted into their brain... they were just lost mutants who managed to stumble upon this big and scary world.

Damian rolled his eyes a bit. "Okay, okay. I didn't get the question," He growled a bit and his eyes shifted into a bright orange from slight fustration and embarressment. "I know what country we are in, but as far as state wise, not a clue. All I can say is we're in north america. Maybe if we're near a coast or something.." He shifted his gaze a bit towards the ground and remembered the whitecoats talking about locations. They were hoping to make another facility in New York but he didn't hear anything else of that. What was New York? What or where ever it was, they needed to stay away unless they want to go back to the School on a silver platter.

Rin grimaced at herself, feeling extraordinarily embarrassed. She fluttered her graceful wings, "Oh jeez Rin," she quietly told herself, "Why THAT subject changer?! It's so overused....", the girl sighed and glided around to the back of the flock, keeping her distance to try to get some peace and quiet. No need to further scramble her thoughts, and plus, her headache wasn't getting any better... "Okay," She mumbled, " Who am I fooling...", she said, then thought: I just want to watch Ryu.... Rin blushed pale pink, gently biting her lip. "It's no use Rin," an angry voice inside her said," He would never like you...", it sighed sadly. Another voice battled back:" Look at YOU, telling her not to try, then falling head over heels yourself!",
"Well I think you're all CRAZY", Battled another voice.
"Look who's talking!",
"Yeah!",
"You guysshould stop fighti-",
"NO ONE WANTS YOUR OPINION.",
"SHUT UP", Rin screamed, grabbing her head and curling up into a ball, not noticing when she began to fall," GET OUT OF MY HEAD.", she screeched hysterically. Rin squeezed into a tighter ball, locking her muscles and clenching her teeth, hands over her ears.

Midnight waited until she was sure everyone had left the room, she sent a little strand of air into the lock on her cage. She fiddled around with it until she heard a click, and she silently pushed the door open. "Score 1 for Ninja Girl" she whispered. She crept out all of the doors till she reached the eraser training area, which she went into. It had an open roof...Most of the time, when the erasers weren't being trained to hunt bird kids. Midnight got to a clearing in the faux forest and she stretched out her 13 foot wing span. She flew up into the air, her wing tips just catching the sides of the roof. She was free.
