Story
Story for Species:
Since you were tricked into coming to the Equator Research Facility, you're life has taken a dramatic turn for the worse. Your living quaters consist of a 6x6' cage. You are kept in this cage until a scientist comes to retrieve you for a test he/she will be performing. These people, some mean no harm, they simply want to learn how you function, and others, the flat out cruel ones know in order to get things done they'll have to have strict attitudes, and a frightening weapon by their side at all times. The government started this facility as a way to learn more about the abnormal like humans. This was a harmless gesture until a crazed scientist, named Ross Payne, took control of the lab. He is eager to do anything to get answers to questions that have gone unanswered for centuries, even if it means hurting you and the other species along the way.
Story for Scientists
You walk in the lab, ready, eager, and nervous to start your new job. All your life, you've watched these creatures from afar. You've observed their behavior, and like your parents, you are quite interested in these species. You're different in one way however, you're smarts have landed you in a position you could have only dreamed of. You get to study and test these creatures first hand. You are unsure what to expect while you make your way to you're office. You ponder what it will be like while you're here... When you're finished unpacking and organizing you're section on the upper floor of the building, you report to Ross Payne's office. What will you find? Will you become a scientist hungry for more information? Or will you take pity on the suffering these beings are put through?Which side will you choose?
Types of Species
Vampires-
Not much explanation is needed. You have fangs, you suck blood, you’re impossibly fast and strong, you’re immortal, and no, sadly you don’t have the pleasure of sparkling in the sunlight, but you don’t go up in ashes either. Killing you is very possible, but it is incredibly hard to do so.
Werewolves-
There are three types of werewolves in this world. There is the original kind, the Stephanie Meyers kind, and finally the demon kind.
Type 1-
You are a typical werewolf. When the full moon comes around, you’re out and about. When you change you become a hairy, humanoid wolf. Your biggest weakness is silver.
Type 2-
Be careful Stephanie Meyer werewolf. There are a lotta team Edward fans out there. Just kidding. As werewolf type 2, you can phase into a giant wolf anytime you want to. You are not immortal, and vampires are your biggest concern, while your strength matches theirs and maybe even exceeds it, their venom can kill you in a second.
Type 3-
Every night you go from a human form to a wolf form. When you do this you are also transforming into a demon wolf. This means you can shoot flames from almost any part of your body and you have a short temper. You are a fallen angel’s best friend.
Fallen Angels-
You are an angel from heaven above, but you are fallen from some evil deed. Your wings were ripped out of you r back, but you are still far away from being human. You have abilities to conjure up illusions that feel so real; they can sometimes, with enough power, become real. Your deed separates you though from sharing any real relationships.
Witches and Wizards/ Sorcerers-
If you are one of these, you have magical abilities. You can cast spells. The most powerful spells are done by wand, but in a lab, your hands are all you have to work with. Different types of magic include, forest, ice, fire, dark, light, life, mind and illusion, earth, space and time. Sorcerers are with the Fallen Angels because they specialize in illusions.
Psychics-
If you are a psychic then you are basically a regular person who has learned to use the full capacity. It’s called ESP. Your abilities include, clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, empathy, precognition, telekinesis, psychometry, retrocognition, and telepathy. There are others too, but there are just soooo many.
Avian Hybrid-
You are a being with large wings sprouting out of your back. You can fly, but this was not something you gained naturally. Having wings like this means, you’ve been in a lab a lot longer than you think you have. Werewolves are your enemies.
Shape Shifters-
Yes, this is one of the most fascinating of the species, because it is the most, understandable/ explainable. If you are a shifter, you can have up to five animals you can transform yourself into at most. You change whenever you want, and into whatever you want. This makes you extremely unpredictable. With your animal abilities, your human form is only as your strongest animal. So if all of your animals are mice, you are most likely to have a smaller, nimbler, sneaky, and weaker build, but if you can transform into a crocodile, you are much stronger.
Other-
This includes other were-creatures, nekos, inus, fantasy creatures. Just don't go overboard and make creatures no one has heard of.
