Thribble looked like a scared puppy, " N-nothing's wrong, w-w-why do y-you ask?" he continued nervously " I m-mean, i-it's not like we......." he trailed off and looked at Hikari pleadingly.

Maylene was very confused, when all of a sudden a book fell out of her bag. She bent down, blushing, when the tip of her back wing came poking out of her shirt. She got back up and gasped, then started backing away from them, nervously. "Umm... I have to go, that was just part of my shirt, I..."

"It... I..." Maylene couldnt go on, she knew they had seen them. She hung her head and let her large back wings unfold.

" Ohhhh, thank god! I thought you were human!" he laughed, " We have wings to, see?" he flapped his black wing. " Sorry I freaked out, you just caught me by surprise."

Maylene's head shot up, had she heard correctly? She gasped, they had wings too! "Wow! I thought I would have to go to the hospital to get these things removed, but apperantly other people have them too! So, whats going on? Why did we grow wings all of a sudden?"

" Don't know really." He scratched his head, " Just got them today. We're trying to get out of the building without anyone seeing us, and we'll make our plans from there." He said confidently " Wanna join us?"
