"So.. MEAN!" she said, her eyes flashing. She didn't care how childlike it sounded. It was simple and to the point.

"Aren't they?" Lance silenced when he could hear some yelling nearby. "Sounds like your cousin," he mumbled under his breath with a sigh. "Right when things were going smoothly too. Ah well. I guess it's normal to have a few quarrels, right?"

Declan heard the shouting, but couldn't make out what they were saying. HE didn't want to know either.

"I'm being my natural self, Thalia. I've been hiding my true self, that's why I never talk much." Ikari snapped and shook out his pelt. "I'm a cold-hearted warrior, not some tame little puppy! I have the attitude of a native wolf: bold, strong, fierce. If you can't handle me like this, than forget it," growled Ikari, stepping closer to Thalia, licking his lips.

Eliza perked up. "That is Ikari, all right, but that's not a normal quarrel!" She grabbed Lance's hand firmly and began to run, pulling him behind her. "Listen Lance, Ikari gets these rages when he's really mad, frustrated, et cetera. So you have to stay at a good distance and not attack, only try to sooth him with kind words. Got it?!" She looked sternly to Lance, wanting an honest answer. This was serious stuff.

Lance cringed slightly when Eliza dragged him along toward Ikari. "Uh, yeah, got it," he said quickly, soon pausing a moment to think about what she had told him. And she sounded serious too. "I'll do what I can, alright? I won't show any signs of aggression, if that's what you mean. The last thing I want is to hurt him. Soft, kind words, I think I can do that too."

Thalia turned. "I thought you had already decided" She said, her fiery eyes had a penatrating gaze. "I'm no good, remember? Because of a stupid hug from a friend who i last saw when I was 11! Someone must be really stupid not to realize the difference between love and friendship- and I dont think we have either." She turned and produced a whirlwind of dirt around him while she ran off.

"Good," She said as Eliza skidded to a halt a few feet away from a cave, to see Ikari heading to Thalia with his jaws wide, but when she began running, she knew trouble had started. Ikari bolted after her, his paws and heart pounding, blood-lust filling his heart. "Ikari, please no, it's not right. Follow your heart, not what all of your kind do," said Eliza calmly, her green eyes pleading. Ikari turned, and spotting Eliza and Lance, he shook his head. It was as if he was in a trance, because his eyes gained the same fiery glare as before and he continued his stalk to Thalia. "Ikari, no, you can't. If you do, you'll lose your only remaining relative left: me." That stirred something in Ikari. He cocked his head at Eliza, and heard the tenderness in her words. His eyes gained a saddened look, and he slowly laid down like tame dog. "Lance, go slowly up to him and pet his head down to his mid-back a few times, it calms him." She looked expectantly at her boyfriend.

Lance hesitated for a moment, half expecting Ikari to bite his head off if he got near. "Oh, alright." He slowly moved toward him and knelt down on the ground, and gently stroked his head, down to the middle of his back. He wasn't sure if talking to him like he was a dog was the best idea, so he bit back those comments. "There you go, Ikari," he said quietly with a light smile. He looked over to Eliza once more. "Do you think that getting Thalia would be a good idea, or no?"

Thalia didn't turn her head. She didn't stop walking. She didn't care if she was killed by the stupid idiot guy who only knew how to make people's lives worse. She kept walking until she got to her room. Once inside, she shut the door quietly and laid down in bed. She didn't sob. Only a few tears went down her cheeks, and they were not for Ikari, they were for her. First boyfriend here, blew it- lasted no longer than an hour or two. She looked out the window and saw several shooting stars pass by at once. She ignored them all. They were a curse.

(( Night! I'll be on my iPod from now on, so expect typos and slow replys! ))"No, let her run to her heart's content," said Eliza. Ikari had drooping eyes, and his tongue lolled out of his mouth. Eliza slowly walked up, and picked up the extra flab on the back of the wolf's neck. A little tug, and a few minutes later, Ikari was snoring as a wolf. "Tugging on the neck fur works to put them to sleep," whispered Eliza as she heaved the wolf on her shoulders. "Let's go back to the beach, okay?" She said, her breath heavy with the weight of Ikari asleep on her top. She began walking slowly through the forest, back to the beach.
