Declan looked at her gravely. "We need to catch up.. Badly." he would have thought meeting Thalia would be great... But he didn't know that her parents died... Wow. He quickly turned to Eliza. "I'm Declan" he said dismissively. Normally he would have been a lot nicer, but he was occupied. "Umm Thalia, lets go... over there." He nodded toward sthe edge of the forest where they would be alone.
Thalia nodded. They walked quickly.

Mistale nodded. "Uh...Okay. See you in a minute, i guess," She muttered, her heels (and her attitude) sinking.

"Okay, that's fine, just walk away like nothing matters," said Eliza loudly, meaning for Declan to hear. She threw up her hands in exasperation, and watched Lance far off. Walking over to him, she said tenderly, "Why won't you join us? Just stay away from Rilo and it'll all work out."

Ikari sniffed the air, and scenting a cave that wolves used to be in not far off, he pushed on harder. Making it to the cave he sat and howled to the moon, now high in the sky. A tear fell from his blue eye and stained his white fur as he thought, Why, right when we get along so well, does another boy have to be better than me?! He snapped when a bird flew past his muzzle, and it crushed in between dagger-like teeth. Swallowing it whole, Ikari let out another mournful howl, and sank onto his stomach, his head on his paws. He scraped the rock with his claws, making a grating noise that echoed through the forest. Why does this have to happen to me?!

Lance watched Declan for a moment. "Looks like quite a number of new kids are coming here," he mumbled as he walked up to Eliza, gently touching her hand. He sighed a little and avoided Rilo's gaze all the while. And didn't even acknowledge his presence.

Eliza's hand tingled at the touch, and she acknowledged Lance's statement with a nod. "They're coming in like crazy!"

Kelly got bored so she started moving her hand in the pattern of waves. All of the sudden a dolphin made of water jumpped out of the water, soaring over everybody's heads and landing with a splash back into the water. Kelly let out a small laugh and made another jump.

"Look Declan... A lot has changed since I last saw you.." Thalia began. "i dont want to make a big deal out of this, but since we last saw eachother, my parents have died, I realized my control over fire and wind, and I came to this school... I... I never knew that you'd be here too!.."

Declan stared. "Youro parents died??" was al he could muster. He hugged her again. "My gosh! I never relaized. Well.." trying to change the subject. "I think my powers are healing and light. Sound cool enough??" he gave her a weak smile.

Thalia smiled slightely. She appreciated the comfort. "Look declan.. We should... um... Do this later, ok??" She looked deep into the forest. "I have to talk to Ikari." she gave him 'one last look and ran inot the forest. Declan put on one of those 'uhhh, okay?' faces and headed back to the group. Time to make new friends? Possibly.

Thalia ranin the forest, using the wind to navigate Ikari i'n a cave. She walked up to him. "Ikari, I hope your not upset by him.. he's Just a friend!! A really, really old friend!!" she smiled weakly.

Mistale had slid off her heels and was holding them in one hand. She dipped her bare feet in the cool moonlit water; She was wearing denim shorts and an army style jacket in honor of her cousin, Danni, who was serving overseas.

Declan decided to talk to Mistale- the only one who seemed to be alone (you know, w/o someone to talk to XD )

"Hello.. Sorry about that." He said shrugging it off. "Just a reeaaallly old friend..."

Mistale nodded. "So I've heard," She said, standing up to her knees in the water. She tugged her jacket tighter around her body; The wind was picking up.
