Skyw could feel the scrambling of wood through the ground. Leaving his guitar and springing to his feet, Skye summoned his sword to his hand and began to race towards the vibrations he felt. The scratching of wood... Fresh pulses of fear.... Skye's mind was analyzing every detail, but somehow, the exact location was blocked from his senses.

Kelly heard the voice, and she felt bad, but seeing the huge Demon steadily climbing up made her push her pity aside.
"Hi, Eliza is it? Well, it's just I'm about to be murdered by a huge Demon and..." She paused to shoot a ball of energy at the demon. It knocked it down a bit, but it continued to climb.
"And you were the first number I could find. No, get away from me!" She screamed the last sentence at the Demon. It chuckled and showed it's teeth at her. It was ugly, far from human.

"Yep it's Eliza! And holy ****, you're getting attacked by a Demon? I'll be there in a sec!" And she hung up. Eliza panther-ized, and leaped off her windowsill down two stories onto the ground below, crouching to absorb impact. She began running to the forest quickly after jumping, her feet barely touching the ground. Eliza, seeing the Demon, stealthily climbed a nearby tree and without hesitation leaped across to Kelly's tree, knocking the Demon off. They both scrambled across the ground, and Eliza yelled, "Skye! Help!"

Kelly climbed out of the tree and ran to a bush nearby. She wanted to help and she threw her bag aside. She ran out again and held out her hands. Her power failed to work.
"What the?" She said. She tried again, but nothing was working. She looked at her finger tips. They were singed on the ends.
"C*ap." She said. She hated when she did this. Whenever she was overly panicked, she would use the energy balls wrong and singe her fingers. Her power wouldn't work for a day after she did that. She decided to try and find something else to help, but what?

Eliza, who was now under a snarling Demon, yelled to Kelly, "Go grab that sharp stick over there!" Yelled Eliza as she barely moved her muzzle to point to a sharp log sitting a few feet from Kelly.

Skye heard the crie for help immediately and followed the sound, his eyes showing light grids as he scanned the demon before him with help from his marking. A demon like this wasn't something Skye needed a blade for, so his sword vanished and his eyes pulsed with power. "Begone." A demonic voice came from Skye but he didn't open his mouth. This was enough to get the Demon to back away from the girls and run, but the look on its face suggested that it would be back.

Kelly looked at Skye.
"Wow, that was way cool." She said.

Eliza quickly jumped up and began to pursue the offending Demon, but stopped, realizing that it was already running. Shaking out her fur, Eliza yawned, her ivories glinting. "Well, that went well," said Eliza sarcastically. "Anyone hurt? I just got a few scratches, but I think I can just go to the nurse," she winced as she moved her paw, blood gushing in a steady flow from it. "I'll be going now, anyone want to come? I'm going to the nurse's office," she said as she transformed and began walking back to the school, clutching her left hand to try and stop the blood.

Kelly walked over to Eliza.
"Are you ok? I feel so bad, this is all my fault. Stupid power wouldn't work. I'm so sorry." She said.
