The Centaur rolled his shoulder, his horse half shifting restlessly from hoof to hoof. He said, "Do as you please, Chosen of Hades. But you all need rest. We won't move for a while, not till the hoard of creatures moves enough to let us through. The center of the herd is the safest at the moment."

Dresyn Looked at Jask. "get the others to the center."

"Guardian can take them. I told you, Dresyn, and so did Moltech. The herd won't try anything. And it's a fact the younger, wilder stallions are on the edge of the herd. You're safer in the center with us." Jask said, shaking his head.

Dresyn shook his head. "The others need more safety than I do, Jask."

Travik stared at the centaur. He looked at Aleu and blushed-memories.

"If I may interrupt, Dresyn, you're a part of all of us and you need to stick with us." Aleu said, "getting separated just weakens you and it weakens those you leave behind, no matter how long you're gone."

"Have you seen yourself in the passed few fights, Dresyn? Or do you ignore that?" Jask said, shaking his head. "And on the way here, you ran through a tree. You could barely stand on your own two feet when we were fighting before. You're in no better condition than I'm going to be in in the next ten minutes." He sighed, the adreniline was wearing off slowly. Ten minutes, he'd be in no better shape than Dresyn. "And Aleu is right; you only make yourself and us weaker by not coming to the center of the herd."
