"Gosh, you don't want me to pick the price too, do you Mistale?" Rai asked as he watched Mistale for a moment. "I don't even know the price of rubies nowadays, so I don't know what a reasonable price for these would be. Since I've been a market guard most of my life, I never knew anything on gemstones except that they were valuable."

Mistale smiled slightly, passing him the small book. "Look through here, you'll get a general idea," She said with a smile, then added, "And Rai, I have no doubt in your abilities, so why should you?" Turning to Sevilen, she said, "Just a moment, please,"

"Because I have no knowledge on this sort of stuff," Rai said as he took the small book and sighed. "The only thing I ever knew was how to catch a thief." He scowled slightly and soon found what he was looking for. "Is there a scale in this place? They're about €45 per pound." He glanced over to Mistale, as if waiting to see if he read the correct numbers or not.

Sevilen nodded and smiled. "I got time." She said.

Mistale smiled supportively. "Yes, in the back," She said, gesturing to the open door behind her. The 'back' as she often called it, was a large room with many windows that was used both as her workshop and as a storage place for the gems and jewelry. The scale sat on a table in the very back, surrounded by blocks of different weights.

Thalia smiled again, settling herself in a corner to watch the proceedings; Afterall, she was bored
