Eli looked back at his paper, and began to write again.
Good walked up to the two. "So, a poetry slam, It's not poetry in the way it's usually portrayed. It is poetry, only different. You cam write it like a rap, like a rant, or like a poem. You use your body and your voice to portray a message around a certain topic," Good explained. "It needs to be something personal, something you're passionate about. You'll get about two and a half weeks to think, write and memorize, then present to the class."
