First Generation
The Poke'mon we all know and love..

This Poke'mon roleplay is based around the first generation of poke'mon, back when everyone had all the names memorized and watched the cartoon on a daily basis. This will be a huge experiment for me, so if you see anything that you think could use some adjustments, just PM me and we'll talk and you can help me improve this thread.
Now then, let's continue, shall we?

News!
Time to start! This Roleplay has started! If you haven't joined by then, you can still join after we start, you'll just have to catch up with your character. : )

Rules

1. Tess's rules apply to this roleplay! : )
2. No Mary/Gary Sues as I'm sure we all know.
3. No godmobbing/powerplaying. Let's face it; it just isn't very nice.
4. Swearing is aloud, just try not to make it a string of curse words, please.
5. Please be Poke'mon realistic. Thunder types can't learn water gun. Nor vise versa.
6. No catching legendaries. It's just unfair for others.
7. As with the original games, trainers are aloud six poke'mon in their party. If they have a full party they're sent to the boxes within the PCs at the Poke'Centers.
8. In your first post, you will be asked to list your party; everyone should start out with one poke'mon, but as you catch more, you need to update your party. Each poke'mon will have a sprite if it is in your party. I'm going to ask everyone to use the sprites available here. You just click on the name, then scroll down to find your sprite.
9. I'm going to be doing something similar to what I saw going on in another Poke'mon RP I saw. If I see a battle about to start, I'll enter the names of each poke'mon about to deck it out into a randomizer and PM the two users the results. If one poke'mon is electric and the other water, I'll put the electric on twice due to the elements. Once you get your results PM'd make your posts interesting, but stick to the outcome you've been given.
10. Each poke'mon can have up to four moves at a time. You can go here again to find the moves they learn and at which level. Poke'mon start out at level five as I've recently discovered by playing the Yellow version. ^^;
11. Try to keep true to the original poke'mon and figure out where'd you run into certain poke'mon. ;D
12. After every successful battle with a poke'mon, it will gain one level! This way evolution will be much easier and less.. straining on the mind. : D

Expectations

1. This is semi-lit. At least 5 full, compound sentences. 10 detached sentences.
2. If you're going to be gone for more then three days, please PM me. We all have lives, stuff happens. ^^
3. You can choose from Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle as your first poke'mon. Everyone will be starting out in Pallet Town.

Character Name: Christian Stark
Age: 16
Gender: Male

Description: His eyes aren't so blue, though they are blue. His hair also isn't as vibrant, though it is dyed those two different colors. His outfits are usually the same, like the one in the picture, they do vary in color.

Brief Personality: Christian is an all together outgoing guy. He loves to be around people almost as much as he loves being around Poke'mon. Ever since he was a little kid, Christian dreamt of the day he'd get his first poke'mon. Now that that day has finally arrived, he's simply ecstatic and almost radiates with an aura of joy. The young man may look strange, but his attitude is anything but. He's just like any of the other trainers; optimistic and willing to go out in the world and catch some poke'mon.

Extras: Christian is never seen without gum. He loves the stuff.

As for evolution, I'm thinking that in the roleplay there won't be as many battles as there are in the game, so the pokemon should level up much quicker. Maybe every battle won, the winning pokemon gains 1 level?

Character Name: Remalia Vidos
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Description: She has green eyes rather than gray. Although she is of mostly spanish decent, she usually wears japanese kimonos with her pokemon belt underneath the first layer for quick access. She almost always has pink flowers in her hair.
Brief Personality: Remalia is the daughter of a pokemon center nurse, so she grew up around pokemon, helping her mother care for sick and injured ones. She is kind-hearted and always ready and willing to help out someone in need, whether they are human or pokemon. Amelia has lots of experience with the health aspects of raising pokemon, but neither of her parents were trainers, so she isn't sure how the rest of it works. Regardless, she has just been given her first pokemon by her uncle, and her parents were finally persuaded to allow her to try out being a pokemon trainer. Remalia is brand new to the game, and seeks out other trainers to learn from them. She is very trusting - perhaps too trusting - and is a little hesitant to battle pokemon because she is afraid they will get hurt. Deep inside, though, she aspires to be a great trainer and own her own gym one day.

Character Name: Felicia Bolet
Age: 16 Years
Gender: Female
Description: Instead of redish/brown eyes, she has light blue eyes. She doesn't have any wings either, obviously. She dyes her hair various colors, not just purple. In fact, she may be seen with green, blue, white, and very rarly pink. Her outfits may vary too, but they are always similar to the one in the picture. She also carries a pokedex in her pocket.
Brief Personality: As a child, she was kept from pokemon, all because of her mother's fear of them. Before long, she found out about them and began trying to find them in the wild secretly. This is because of her rebelious side, she hates to follow rules, and isn't afraid to run her mouth about or to anyone, making her a master in the battlefields. Ever since, she has been compelled to learn more about them and eventually own one. But don't judge her by her cover, to her friends, she is often more generous to them then others, excluding her rather harmfull jokes. If you are her friend though, you shouldn't take them personally, she doesn't mean them, she just likes to joke around a bit.

Extras: She is always wearing the hat in the picture, excluding when she is sleeping, but otherwise, she is known for her hat with the smile.

Accepted! That'd be perfectly fine. : ) Everyone needs friends. I'll be starting this in about a week, maybe less. I've been realllly busy lately and I might be this weekend. Dying my hair green and I might get the urge to go show off at the mall or something. xD
