She was so reliable; although Emma knew all the Med-Jacks were dependable, she didn't necessarily know if they were eager to tackle a new job that came about. She could trust that Romi would spend her time experimenting, like with that flower she found. Emma was excited to hear about that, even if it wasn't an herb and even if it wasn't anything more than a pretty new flower. A discovery was a discovery!
Emma herself wasn't too sure she wanted to hop in on the game, for it hadn't ever been something that interested her, and she was surprised when Romi agreed to enter; Romi was quiet, shy, and Emma was curious to see how she'd react to the question given. Though most of the Gladers were pretty reliable, there was always that one that shot out a question nobody could truly answer. A safe, appropriate question was enough to make Emma feel settle. She supposed she'd join depending on who was next to pick a person and ask a question.
The laughter in the air was enough to draw her attention in multiple directions, but the unsettled look on Romi's face lured in her quickly, and a concerned look of her own settled on Emma's expression.
"Romi?" she asked quietly.
"Are you alright?"━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━rank: [builder]xxxage: [eighteen] xxxgender: [male] xxxmentions/tags: [yvonne, dante] xxxOne of the many things Lee truly admired about Dante was how dedicated she was. It didn't matter if it was in terms of her job, a requested task, or something as silly and lighthearted as a game of truth or dare. Her thinking face was on, and the way her lips rubbed against one another suggested she was indeed deep in thought. Beside him, Kassandra had always grown quiet, but Lee hadn't turned to get a glance of her face. He was intrigued by Dante, excited to see what she had in store for him. He was as much of a daredevil as she was; the two of them were pretty much the definition of trouble. Truth be told, Lee really didn't know how so many people still tolerated them. Surely they were an absolute nuisance towards the quiet people who either wished to get through the day without any issues or the people who believed they were better than everyone else. But there were only two or three of those types.
He rubbed his hands together playfully as she turned towards him, but his gaze was quickly taken by Yvonne, another Runner. He raised his brows, a lopsided smile on his face. Yvonne was quiet, but she was a joy.
"I'm sure you've dreamt it," he playfully returned to the petite girl. His eyes, however, had flickered towards Dante in a more serious manner, despite the fact that she had yet to say anything on that matter. Lee wouldn't pass down that opportunity, just as he wouldn't with any girl in the Glade, but although they'd been teased about before, he was pretty sure that was the first time
that had come about.
Clearly, Dante was on board, and his brows shot up as she grinned devilishly in his direction. He would have laughed at the way she bent down to reach his height (oh, how the tables had turned!) but he was genuinely taken aback. It wasn't in a bad way, of course (Lee was sure he'd imagined it at some point in time), but it seemed so
real now. And yet, there was no way in hell he was going to back down from this. It was a dare
and it was from Dante. It was Dante.
Reaching out, he grabbed her waist in one fluid motion and settled her figure on his lap, tipping her head towards him.
"As you wish, my princess," he responded in a rather mocking tone, hesitating only a split second before closing the gap between the two of them. Her lips were warm, soft, and it was as sweet as he'd ever imagined. He pulled back a moment later, though, not wishing for the kiss to linger in case anyone were to get the wrong idea. He kept his face close to hers, though.
"I never back down from a dare," Lee smirked, raising his hand just enough to be able to swipe the tip of her freckled nose with his pinky.
"Consider your lips blessed."━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

She was different, that was for sure. Emersyn had to resist an eye roll quite a bit when Hani and Karter trailed behind her, like ducklings following after their mother. It was always the same thing every single time- the females flanked the newcomer when he was a male, and the males always followed after the Greenie if she were female. Couldn't anyone see they had better things to do than gush over a new face? The Greenie was pretty, Emersyn would give her that, but she hadn't done anything extraordinary. She was just like every other Greenie. God, I have been around way too long, she thought miserably, tilting her head back with a bit of an overdramatic sigh.
She perked up at Newt's agreement and leaned her head back to meet the blond's eye. "I know," she chirped with a rare, cheekily smug smile. Raising both brows, the petite girl returned to her comfortable position. "We wouldn't let that happen. We've had too many accidents to take that risk anymore." Her tone turned bitter with those last few words and she practically spat them out, like they were too spicy or too hot to decompose. She didn't wish to talk about the stinging incidents and hoped Newt got that cue. Though, in all fairness, it wasn't a light topic anyone would eagerly juggle around. There was a time and a place for that, and that almost always stayed in the hands of a Med-Jack.
She stretched her short legs out and tapped her ankles together, meeting Newt's gaze for a brief moment before quickly looking away. "We found something new today," she settled on. Though Emersyn was still having a difficult time telling herself that it was Newt they were to report to now, she could praise herself for slowly getting better on it. Emersyn had nothing against Newt- she was pretty confident Alby had really disliked her, anyway- but it was strange without Minho. She didn't like change very much, especially when it involved her. "But I don't think anyone else needs to know about it until we get more information."

Draco wasn't much of a chatter in general, but especially not towards someone he didn't really know. Of course he knew Yvonne, but he didn't really
know know her. Besides, he was exhausted, and he didn't need to muster up any more pushy joy just to seem approachable. The Runner didn't stick around long, anyway, far too exciting over what was happening on the opposite side of the fire. Draco paid attention enough to know that Dante was going first with something, but that was about it. It didn't really surprise him, if he was being honest; with Lee around, Dante was always pushed into the spotlight. Draco didn't dislike Dante, though, so it didn't really matter. It didn't involve him, anyway.
"What are you talking about?" he asked in an exasperated tone. What was Alastair looking for from him? Draco meant exactly what he said, so why was Alastair being pushy about it? If he wanted to know more about the girl, he could approach her himself. Draco didn't even know when she'd arrived.
"I'm not lying, I said what I said, that's it." His tone was slightly clipped, though he blamed that on the large amount of fatigue that had clouded over him. He didn't say anything more on that subject.
"Aren't you going to join them? I thought you were friends with Lee."
