An amused, though still very genuine, smile played at Emma's lips at Romi's reserved little wave, undoubtedly to the Greenie. Emma watched the newcomer yet again for a brief moment. She was excited to figure out what she was named; sometimes it took days, and others, only hours. She wondered how much luck the girl had on her side.
She glanced back over at Romi yet again as the quiet girl spoke once more. Curiosity sparkled in the depths of her eyes. The only plants Emma really knew of were the herbs she used to put into her mixtures, so this was genuinely intriguing to hear. "That's so interesting!" she said. "Do you think it has a purpose like an herb, or is it just a pretty sight to see?" She paused for a moment, then continued in a quieter tone, "I've been thinking of maybe asking Newt if he'd be okay if us Med-Jacks helped work elsewhere. You know, just because we've done nothing lately. Maybe, if you're into that idea, you could work in the gardens more often?"

Lee's eyes lingered on Kassandra and Dante as the two started up a brief chat, then shifted his attention to the crackling fire behind them. Things were so quiet; the Grievers were louder than the chatter amongst the group. He raised the cup to his lips and took a sip of the bitter drink. Truth be told, he had absolutely no idea who created the drink, nor did he know what was in it. It was a bit tough to get down for the first little bit, but the burning in his chest became natural and the flavour turned into something much tastier. Lee had only ever had too many of the drinks once, during his earlier months in the Glade. He'd woken the following day with a wicked headache and an awful stomachache, and vowed to never drink that much again. One or two cups was more than enough to satisfy him.
He let out an audible yawn that was dramatic and completely fake, bringing his free hand to his mouth and tapping his fingers against his lips. "Blah blah blah," he drawled. "You guys are all so boring. Where's the excitement, y'all? It's not like we have these parties every day, c'mon!" He raised his cup up to eye-level, as if he was about to make a toast. "Who's down for a game of truth or dare, eh?"

Stifling a yawn that was caused by a fairly equal amount of fatigue and boredom, Draco rested his head in his hands, lazily tapping his index finger against his jaw. Mentally, he kept telling himself he was going to retire to his hammock in the Homestead, but for whatever reason, the motivation to get up and leave never came. It was almost like something was truly holding him back, but he hadn't the slightest idea of what that was. Sighing the way a young child often attempted to resemble a snort of an equine, he gently swayed his head back and forth, only just enough for the back of his jaw to lift a tiny bit out of his cupped hands. Proclaiming his boredom aloud wouldn't do anyone any good, but man, this was tiresome.
He gave a shrug at Alastair's words, the movement awkward, flimsy, due to the way he had leaned forward. "Rather them stay there than come in here," he mumbled. "They're not all bad from afar. Gets us some semi-amusing moments." He tipped his head in the direction of the jumpy Greenie, though didn't doubt for a second the Builder had already caught onto it.
It was strange, how the buzzing in his mind that he'd been grumbling over earlier had turned into more of an "E" noise. His fingers tapped his throbbing temples, then rubbed them gently. "Something about that Greenie is killing me," Draco confessed to Alastair, almost completely ignoring Lee's outburst. "I just don't know what it is that's giving me such a headache."
