This Roleplay is set in modern times. But in a fantasy city called Syn (Sin).
Syn is surrounded by a dark forest, filled with almost every kind of tree. There is a lake to the north, and snow capped mountains to the south and east. The road that leads to distance citys lays to the west.
Ghosts;
Your lonely, the world you left behind is changing. Moving on, forgetting you ever existed, the tears that once fell have dried with their fading memory. Your gravestone, if you were lucky enough to receive one, the only thing that stands long after the world forgets. You drift into the background, watching but not being seen. You’ve screamed, stood in people’s ways, anything that you thought might get you noticed, but they just blame the wind, walk right through you and are blind to all your feeble attempts.
You begin to fade, you may be intangible and invisible, but you still were. But as their thoughts drift further away from you, you start to become invisible to other ghosts. No one knows what happens to the ghosts whose families completely forget them, but they say that’s when you truly die. Some can’t wait for their families to move on, but not all ghosts dream of such a thing. Some ghosts have discovered that if you fall in love with another being (Human or ghost) you will not vanish or fade.
You still can feel pain; you can still be hurt, but only by other ghosts. You can’t walk through walls, fly or anything like that; instead you are extremely graceful, and stronger and faster than normal mortals. You are intangible to mortal humans except when the moon is full. They are not intangible to other objects... only humans.
Humans;
Most humans don’t believe in ghosts... and why would they? They can’t see them or hear them so they can’t be real right?
Wrong, there are a few people who know ghosts exist, they can see them, hear them some have even given themselves to them, to be with them forever. But there are also some who fear them.
Pretty much everything else humans do.
How to turn a Mortal human into a ghost;
There are several ways a mortal human can become a ghost. But there are no ways to become human if you are a ghost.
- Death
- Kiss a ghost
- Give yourself to a ghost/ join the ghosts.
